The unsuccessful yogi, after enjoying for many years in the realms of the holy souls, takes birth either in the family of a virtuous person or in the family of a wealthy person.
Purport: Here the unsuccessful yogis are divided into two categories - those who become corrupt only after very little progress, and those who become corrupt after prolonged practice of yoga.
Yogis who become corrupt after a short period of practice go to heaven, where only pious souls are allowed to enter. After staying there for a long time, he is again sent to this world, so that he can be born in a good Brahmin Vaishnava family or in a wealthy family.
The real aim of yoga practice is to attain the highest perfection of Krishna consciousness. After this, they are given the opportunity to spend their life in a Brahmin Vaishnava family or a wealthy family.
By taking birth in such a family, taking advantage of all the facilities, the person takes himself completely to a higher level of Krsna consciousness.
