महादेव को भस्म क्यों इतना प्रिय है? बहुत ही अद्भुत प्रसंग

हम सभी को पता है कि महादेव को चिता का भस्म बहुत प्रिय है, तो उन्हें भस्म क्यों इतना प्रिय है आइए जानते हैं शास्त्रों में वर्णित इस सुंदर प्रसंग के द्वारा।

               महादेव को सबसे बड़ा वैष्णव कहा जाता है, क्योंकि वो हमेशा समाधि में बैठ कर भगवान श्री राम के नाम का जप करते रहते हैं। शिव जी भगवान श्री राम के सबसे बड़े नाम जापक हैं, क्योंकि वे श्री राम से बेहद प्रेम करते हैं। उनके लिए राम नाम से अधिक प्यारा और कुछ भी नहीं है। वे चौबीस घंटे राम नाम की समाधि में लीन रहते हैं। उन्हें राम नाम के जप में अत्यंत आनंद की अनुभूति होती है।

              एक बार की बात है, शिव जी समाधि में लीन होकर प्रभु श्री राम के नाम का जप कर रहे थे। अचानक उनके कानों में राम नाम की आवाज सुनाई दी, और वो समाधि से जाग गए। उन्होंने देखा कि कुछ लोग अपने कंधे पर किसी के लाश को रख कर जोर जोर से बोल रहे थे, राम नाम सत्य है।

               अब तो शिव जी भी उठ कर छुप छुप कर उन लोगों के पीछे पीछे चलने लगे, और सोचने लगे कि ये जो कोई भी  है, वो कितना महान है कि, इसे कंधे पर रखने के बाद जीव बार बार राम का नाम ले रहा है, और एक क्षण के लिए भी इनसे राम की विस्मृति नहीं हो रही है।

            शिव जी की उत्कंठा और बढ़ गई, कि अब तो मैं इसे बिना देखे यहां से नहीं जाऊंगा, और वो उनके पीछे चलते चलते स्मसान पहुंच गए। स्मसान पहुंच कर उन लोगों ने लाश को नीचे रखा, और फिर विधि पूर्वक उसका दाह संस्कार करने के बाद, वो लोग फिर से राम नाम सत्य है बोलते हुए जाने लगे।

            उनके जाने के बाद शिव जी स्मसान में, उस जलती हुई चिता के पास गए, जाकर उसे दंडवत प्रणाम किया, और कहा कि हे जीव तुम धन्य हो, क्योंकि जब तक वे लोग तुम्हारे साथ रहे तब तक वे निरंतर राम का नाम लेते रहे, एक पल के लिए भी उन्हें राम का विस्मरण नहीं हुआ, तो आज से मैं भी अपने माथे पर तुम्हारे चिता का भस्म लगाऊंगा, जिससे कि कभी भी मुझसे  मेरे प्रभु का विस्मरण न हो और उन्होंने उस जलती हुई चिता से भस्म लेकर अपने पूरे शरीर और माथे पर उसे लगा लिया। यही कारण है कि महादेव को चिता का भस्म चढ़ाया जाता है, और चिता का भस्म उन्हें अत्यंत प्रिय है।

We all know that Mahadev loves the ashes of the funeral pyre very much, so let us know why he loves the ashes so much through this beautiful incident described in the scriptures.

Mahadev is called the greatest Vaishnav, because he always sits in samadhi and chants the name of Lord Shri Ram.  Shiv Ji is the biggest chanter of Lord Shri Ram's name because he loves Shri Ram very much.  For them there is nothing more lovely than the name Ram.  They remain absorbed in samadhi in the name of Ram for twenty-four hours.  They feel immense joy in chanting the name of Ram.

Once upon a time, Lord Shiva was absorbed in samadhi and was chanting the name of Lord Shri Ram.  Suddenly the voice of Ram's name was heard in his ears, and he woke up from samadhi.  He saw that some people were carrying someone's dead body on their shoulders and saying loudly, Ram's name is true.

Now even Shiv ji got up and started following them secretly, and started thinking that whoever it is, how great he is that, after placing it on his shoulder, the creature is taking the name of Ram again and again,  And they are not forgetting Ram even for a moment.

Shiv ji's eagerness increased further, that now I will not leave from here without seeing this, and he followed him and reached the cremation ground.  After reaching the crematorium, they kept the dead body down, and after ritually cremating it, they started leaving again chanting Ram Naam Satya Hai.

After his departure, Lord Shiva went to the cremation ground, near the burning pyre, bowed down to it, and said, O living being, you are blessed, because as long as they stayed with you, they kept chanting the name of Ram continuously.  He did not forget Ram even for a moment, so from today onwards I will also apply the ashes of your funeral pyre on my forehead, so that I never forget my Lord and he took the ashes from that burning pyre and applied it on his entire body and  Applied it on the forehead.  This is the reason why the ashes of the pyre are offered to Mahadev, and the ashes of the pyre are very dear to him.
