आपन्न: संसृतिं घोरां यन्नाम विवशो गृणन्।तत: सद्यो विमुच्यते यद्विभेति स्वयं भयम्।।14।।
अनुवाद श्रील प्रभुपाद के द्वारा : जन्म तथा मृत्यु के जटिल जाल में उलझे हुए जीव यदि अनजाने में भी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के पवित्र नाम का उच्चारण करते हैं, तो वे तुरन्त मुक्त हो जाते हैं, क्योंकि साक्षात भय भी हरिनाम से भयभीत रहता है।
तात्पर्य : पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान श्रीकृष्ण सभी के परम नियंता हैं।इस सृष्टि में कोई भी ऐसा नहीं है, जो सर्वशक्तिमान के क्रोध से भयभीत न हो। उदाहरणार्थ रावण, हिरण्यकशिपु,कंस के जैसे भयानक असुर तथा ऐसे ही अन्य शक्तिशाली जीव भी श्री भगवान द्वारा मार डाले गए।
पराक्रमी श्रीवासुदेव ने अपनी समस्त निजी शक्तियां अपने नाम को प्रदान कर रखी हैं। अर्थात प्रत्येक वस्तु श्रीभगवान से संबंधित है, और प्रत्येक वस्तु की पहचान उनमें ही निहित है। कहने का तात्पर्य है कि भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के नाम से साक्षात भय तक भयभीत रहता है।यह इस बात का सूचक है कि भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का नाम श्रीकृष्ण से अभिन्न है, अर्थात भगवान और भगवान के नाम में कोई अंतर नहीं है।
अतः श्रीकृष्ण का नाम स्वयं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के समान ही शक्तिमान है। उनमें तनिक भी अंतर नहीं है। अतः बड़े से बड़े संकट की स्थिति में भी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के पवित्र नाम का लाभ उठाया जा सकता है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के दिव्य नाम का चाहे अनजाने में या किसी भी परिस्थिति से बाध्य होकर उच्चारण किया जाए, तो इससे जन्म तथा मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हुआ जा सकता है।
इस श्लोक से हमें यही सीख मिलती है कि नाम और नामी में कोई अंतर नहीं है, अर्थात भगवान और भगवान के नाम में कोई अंतर नहीं है।नाम का मतलब साक्षात भगवान श्रीकृष्ण हैं। अतः हम सभी को प्रत्येक दिन भगवान के पवित्र नाम का जप अवश्य करना चाहिए, जिससे कि हमें भी इस जन्म मृत्यु के चक्र से छुटकारा मिल जाए और हम सभी भगवद्धाम वापस लौट जाएं।
Aapannh sansritim ghoram yannam vivasho grinan.
Tatah sadyo vimuchyate yadvibheti swayam bhayam.।।14।।
Translation by Srila Prabhupada: If the living beings entangled in the complex web of birth and death, even unknowingly, chant the holy name of Lord Krishna, they immediately become free, because even the most visible fear remains afraid of Harinam.
Purport: The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna, is the supreme controller of all. There is no one in this universe who is not afraid of the wrath of the Almighty. For example, terrible demons like Ravana, Hiranyakashipu, Kansa and other such powerful beings were also killed by Shri Bhagwan.
The mighty Shrivasudev has given all his personal powers to his name. That is, every thing belongs to the Supreme Lord, and the identity of every thing lies in Him only. It means to say that one remains afraid of the name of Lord Shri Krishna even to the point of fear. This indicates that the name of Lord Shri Krishna is inseparable from Shri Krishna, that is, there is no difference between the name of God and God.
Therefore, the name of Shri Krishna is as powerful as Lord Shri Krishna himself. There is not even the slightest difference between them. Therefore, even in the situation of greatest crisis, the holy name of Lord Shri Krishna can be taken advantage of. If the divine name of Lord Shri Krishna is chanted unknowingly or due to any circumstances, one can become free from the cycle of birth and death.
From this verse we learn that there is no difference between name and name, that is, there is no difference between God and God's name. The meaning of name is Lord Krishna in reality. Therefore, we all must chant the holy name of God every day, so that we too can get rid of this cycle of birth and death and we all return back to God's abode.
