हनुमान चालीसा अर्थ सहित

1. श्री गुरु चरण सरोज रज, निज मन मुकुरु सुधारि।

बरनऊ रघुवर बिमल जसु जोदायक फल चारि।।

अर्थ : श्री गुरु जी महाराज के चरण कमलों की धूलि से अपने मन को पवित्र करके श्री रघुनाथ जी के निर्मल यश का वर्णन करता हूं,जो चारों फल धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष को देने वाला है।

2. बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरऊ पवनकुमार।

    बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहि, हरहु कलेश विकार।।

 अर्थ : हे पवनकुमार मैं आपको सुमिरन करता हूं, आप तो जानते ही हैं कि मेरा शरीर और बुद्धि निर्बल है। मुझे मुझे शारीरिक बल, सद्बुद्धि एवं ज्ञान दीजिए और मेरे दुखों और दोषों का नाश कर दीजिए।

3. जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुण सागर, जय कपीश तिहूँ लोक उजागर।।

अर्थ : श्री हनुमान जी आपकी जय हो, आप तो ज्ञान और गुण के सागर हो। हे कपीशर आपकी जय हो। तीनों लोकों स्वर्ग लोक, भूलोक और पाताल लोक में आपकी कीर्ति है।

4.राम दूत अतुलित बल धामा, अंजनि पुत्र पवनसुत नामा।।

अर्थ : हे पवन पुत्र हनुमान अंजनी नंदन आपके समान कोई दूसरा बलवान नहीं है।

5. महावीर विक्रम बजरंगी, कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी।

अर्थ : हे महावीर बजरंगबली आप विशेष पराक्रम वाले हैं।आप खराब बुद्धि को दूर करते हैं, और अच्छी बुद्धि वालों के सहायक हैं।

6. कंचन बरन बिराज सुबेसा, कानन कुण्डल कुंचित केसा।

अर्थ : आप सुनहले रंग, सुंदर वस्त्रों, कानों में कुण्डल और घुंघराले बालों से सुशोभित हैं।

7. हाथ बज्र अरु ध्वजा बिराजे, कांधे मूंज जनेऊ साजे।

अर्थ : आपके हाथ में बज्र और ध्वजा हैं और कांधे पर मूंज के जनेऊ सुशोभित हैं।

8. शंकर सुवन केशरी नंदन,तेज प्रताप महा जग वंदन।

अर्थ : हे शंकर के अवतार हे केसरी नंदन आपके पराक्रम और महान यश की संसार भर में वंदना होती है।

9. विद्यावान गुणी अति चातुर, राम काज करिबे को आतुर।

अर्थ : आप प्रकांड विद्या वानहैं, गुणवान और अत्यंत कार्य कुशल होकर श्री राम जी के काज को करने के लिए आतुर रहते हैं।

10. प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया, राम लखन सीता मन बसिया।

अर्थ : आप श्री राम चरित सुनने में आनंद लेते हैं। श्री राम, सीता जी और लखन आपके हृदय में बसे रहते हैं।

11. सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहि दिखावा, विकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा।

अर्थ : आपने अपने रूप को अत्यन्त सूक्ष्म करके सीता जी को दिखलाया और विकराल रूप धारण करके लंका को जलाया।

12. भीम रूप धरि असुर संहारे, राम चन्द्र के काज संवारे।

अर्थ : आपने विशाल रूप धारण करके राक्षसों को मारा ,श्री राम चन्द्र जी के उद्येश्यों को सफल कराया।

13. लाय संजीवन लखन जियाये, श्री रघुवीर हरशि उर लाए।

अर्थ : आपने संजीवनी बूटी लाकर लक्ष्मण जी के प्राण बचाए, जिससे हर्षित होकर श्री रघुवीर जी ने आपको अपने हृदय से लगा लिया।

14. रघुपति किन्हीं बहुत बड़ाई, तुम मम प्रिय भरत सम भाई।

अर्थ : प्रभु श्री राम ने आपकी बहुत बड़ाई की और कहा कि तुम मेरे भरत जैसे प्यारे भाई हो।

15. सहस बदन तुम्हरो यश गावै, अस कही श्री पति कंठ लगावै।

अर्थ : श्री राम ने आपको यह कहकर अपने हृदय से लगा लिया की तुम्हारा यश हजार मुख से सराहनीय है।

16. सनका दिक ब्रम्हादि मुनीसा, नारद सारद सहित अहिसा।

अर्थ : श्री सनक,श्री सनातन, श्री सनंदन, श्री सनत कुमार आदि मुनि ब्रह्मा आदि देवता नारद जी, सरस्वती जी, शेषनाग जी सब आपका गुण गान करते हैं।

17.जम कुबेर दिगपाल जहां ते, कवि कोबिद कही सकै कहां ते।

अर्थ : यमराज, कुबेर आदि सभी दिशाओं के रक्षक कवि विद्वान, पंडित या कोई भी आपके यश का पूर्णतः वर्णन नहीं कर सकते।

18. तुम उपकार सुग्रीवही किन्हा,राम मिलाए राजपद दीन्हा।

अर्थ : आपने सुग्रीव को श्री राम जी से मिलाकर उनपर उपकार किया जिसके कारण सुग्रीव राजा बने।

19. तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषण माना, लंकेश्वर भए सब जग जाना।

अर्थ : आपके उपदेश का विभीषण जी ने पालन किया जिसके कारण वो लंका के राजा बने, इस बात को सारा संसार जानता है।

20. जुग सहस्त्र योजन पर भानू, लिल्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू।

अर्थ : जो सूर्य इतने योजन दूरी पर है कि उसपर पहुंचने के लिए हजार युग लगे,दो हजार योजन की दूरी पर स्थित सूर्य को आपने एक मीठा फल समझकर निगल लिया।

21. प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माहीं, जलधि लाँघी गए अचरज नाही।

अर्थ : आपने श्री राम चन्द्र जी की अंगूठी मुंह में रखकर समुद्र को लांघ लिया, इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं है।

22. दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते, सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते।

अर्थ : संसार में कितने भी कठिन से कठिन काम हो,वो आपकी कृपा से बिल्कुल सहज हो जाते हैं।

23. राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे, हो त ना आज्ञा बिनु पैसारे।

अर्थ : श्री राम चन्द्र जी के द्वार के आप रखवाले हैं, जिसमें आपकी आज्ञा के बिना किसी को प्रवेश नहीं मिलता अर्थात् आपको प्रसन्न किए बिना राम कृपा दुर्लभ है।

24. सब सुख लहैं तुम्हारी शरणा, तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना।

अर्थ : जो भी आपके शरण में आते हैं उस सभी को आनन्द प्राप्त होता है और जब रक्षक आप हैं तो फिर किसी का डर नहीं रहता।

25. आपन तेज सम्हारौ आपै, तीनों लोक हांकते कांपै।

अर्थ : आपके सिवाय आपके वेग को कोई नहीं रोक सकता, आपकी गर्जना से तीनों लोक कांप जाते हैं।

26. भूत पिशाच निकट नहीं आवै, महावीर जब नाम सुनावै।

अर्थ : जहां पर हनुमान जी का नाम सुनाया जाता है, वहां भूत पिशाच पास भी नहीं फटकते।

27. नासै रोग हरे सब पीरा, जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा।

अर्थ : हे वीर हनुमान जी आपका निरंतर जप करने से सब रोगों का नाश हो जाता है और सब पीड़ा मिट जाती है।

28. संकट ते हनुमान छुड़ा वै , मन क्रम वचन ध्यान जो लावै ।

अर्थ : हे हनुमान जी जो भी आपको मन, क्रम और वचन से आपकी पूजा करता है आप उनको सब संकटों से छुड़ाते हैं 

29. सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा,तिनके काज सकल तुम साजा।

अर्थ : तपस्वी राजा श्री राम चन्द्र जी सबसे श्रेष्ठ हैं, उनके सब कार्यों को आपने सहज में कर दिया।

30. और मनोरथ जो कोई ल।वै  , सोई अमित जीवन फल पावै।

अर्थ : जिस पर आपकी कृपा हो,वह कोई भी अभिलाषा करे तो उसे ऐसा फल मिलता है जिसकी जीवन में कभी कल्पना भी नहीं होती।

31. चारों जुग जुग प्रताप तुम्हारा,है प्रसिद्ध जगत उजियारा।

अर्थ : चारों युगों सतयुग, त्रेता, द्वापर तथा कलियुग में आपका यश फैला हुआ है, जगत में आपकी कीर्ति सर्वत्र प्रकाशमान है ।

32. साधु संत के तुम रखवारे, असुर निकंदन राम दुलारे।

अर्थ : हे श्री राम के दुलारे आप सज्जनों की रक्षा करते हैं और दुष्टों का नाश करते हैं।

33. अष्ट सिद्धि नव निधि के दाता, अस बर दीन जानकी माता।

अर्थ : आपको माता जानकी से ऐसा वरदान मिला हुआ है जिससे आप किसी को भी आठों सिद्धियां और नौ निधियाँ दे सकते हैं।

34. राम रसायन तुम्हरे पासा, सदा रहो रघुपति के दासा।

अर्थ : आप निरंतर श्री राम जी की शरण में रहते हैं, जिससे आपके पास बुढ़ापा और असाध्य रोगों के नाश के लिए राम नाम की औषधि है।

35. तुम्हरे भजन राम को पावै, जनम जनम के दुख बिस रावै।

अर्थ : आपका भजन करने से श्री राम जी प्राप्त होते हैं और जन्म जन्मांतर के दुख दूर होते हैं।

36. अन्त काल रघुवर पुर जाई, जहां जन्म हरि भक्त कहाई।

अर्थ : अंत समय में श्री रघुनाथ जी के धाम में जाते हैं और यदि फिर भी जन्म लेना पड़े तो भक्ति करेंगे और श्री राम भक्त कहलाएंगे।

37. और देवता चित्त न धरई , हनुमत सेई सर्व सुख करई।

अर्थ : हे हनुमान जी आपकी सेवा करने से सब प्रकार के सुख मिलते हैं, फिर अन्य किसी देवता की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती।

38. संकट कटे मिटे सब पीरा, जो सुमिरै हनुमत बलबीरा।

अर्थ : हे वीर हनुमान जी जो आपका सुमिरन करता है, उसके सब संकट कट जाते हैं और सब पीड़ा मिट जाती है।

39. जय जय जय हनुमान गुसाईं, कृपा करहु गुरुदेव की नाई।

अर्थ : हे हनुमान जी आपकी जय हो, जय हो जय हो। आप मुझ पर कृपालु श्री गुरु जी के समान कृपा कीजिए।

40. जो सत बार पाठ कर कोई, छूटहि बंदी महा सुख होई।

अर्थ : जो कोई इस हनुमान चालीसा का सौ बार पाठ करेगा वह सब बंधनों से छूट जाएगा और उसे परमानंद मिलेगा।

41. जो यह पढ़े हनुमान चालीसा, होय सिद्धि साखी गौरीसा।

अर्थ : भगवान भोले शंकर ने यह हनुमान चालीसा लिखवाया, इसलिए वे साक्षी हैं कि जो इसे पढ़ेगा उसे निश्चय ही सफलता प्राप्त होगी।

42. तुलसी दास सदा हरि चेरा, कीजै नाथ हृदय मह डेरा।

अर्थ : हे नाथ हनुमान जी, तुलसी दास सदा ही श्री राम जी के दास हैं, इसलिए आप सदैव उनके हृदय में निवास कीजिए।

43. पवन तनय संकट हरन, मंगल मुरती रूप।

      राम लखन सीता सहित हृदय बसहु सुरभूप।।

अर्थ : हे संकट मोचन पवन कुमार,आप तो आनंद मंगलों के स्वरुप हैं। हे देवराज आप श्री राम, सीता जी और लखन सहित मेरे हृदय में निवास कीजिए।

दम आलू रेसिपी

दम आलू में लगने वाली सामग्री:

1. आलू : 1kg उबले हुए

2. प्याज :6 बड़े साइज़ के (प्याज को बारीक पीस कर लेना है)

3. धनियाँ पाउडर : 3 टेबल स्पून

4. जीरा पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

5. काली मिर्च पाउडर : 1/2  टेबल स्पून

6. लाल मिर्च पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

7. हल्दी पाउडर : 1 टेबल स्पून

8. गरम मसाला पाउडर : 1/2 टेबल स्पून

9. तेज पत्ता : 2

10. पांच फोरन : 1 टेबल स्पून

11. घी : 2 टेबल स्पून

12. सरसो तेल 

13. धनियां पत्ता : बारीक कटा हुआ

14.नमक : स्वादानुसार

15. कसूरी मेथी 

दम आलू बनाने की विधि : 

दम आलू बनाने के लिए सबसे पहले उबले हुए आलू को छीलकर और कांटे वाले चम्मच (फॉर्क) से घोंप घोंप कर पूरे आलू में छेद कर देना है। ऐसा करने से आलू के अंदर तक नमक और मसाले का टेस्ट जाएगा। सभी आलू को पूरा पूरा ही रखना है काटना नहीं है।

अब गैस पर एक पैन गरम करें और उसमें जितना आलू है उसके हिसाब से तेल डाल दें जिसमें आलू अच्छी तरह से फ्राई किया जा सके। तेल में जब धुआं निकलने लगे तो सभी छेद किए हुए आलू को उसमें डाल दें।

दो तीन मिनट तक आलू को तेज आंच पर सिकने दें फिर उसमें हल्का नमक डाल दें और उलट पलट कर तब तक फ्राई करें जब तक कि आलू अच्छी तरह से लाल ना हो जाए।अब आलू को एक प्लेट में निकाल लें। उसी पैन में थोड़ा और तेल डालकर उसमें पांच फोरन डाल दें।जब पांच फोरन चटकने लगे तो तेज पत्ता डालकर फिर उसमें प्याज को जो हमने पीस कर रखा था उसे डाल दें। अब प्याज को तब तक भूनना है जब तक कि उसका कलर हल्का सुनहरा न हो जाए। 

 अब एक कटोरी में धनियां पाउडर, जीरा पाउडर, काली मिर्च पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर कसूरी मेथी और लाल मिर्च पाउडर डालकर उसमें थोड़ा पानी डालकर उसे अच्छी तरह से मिक्स कर लें। प्याज के सुनहरा होते ही हमने जो कटोरी में मसाला को मिक्स करके रखा है उसे डाल दें। गैस की आंच धीमी कर दें और सभी मसाले को तब तक भूनें जब तक की मसाले में अच्छी खुशबू न आने लगे।

अब चार से पांच ग्लास के आस पास पानी डालकर उसे उबलने दें। ग्रेवी में उबाल आते ही उसमें जो हमने फ्राई कर के आलू रखा था उसे डाल दें।

अब पांच से दस मिनट तक ग्रेवी को अच्छे से उबलने दें। दस मिनट बाद उसमें धनियां पत्ता, गरम मसाला और घी

डालकर एक मिनट और गैस पर रहने दें।अब गैस को बंद कर दें और चावल, रोटी या पूरी किसी के साथ गरमा गरम आलू दम को सर्व करें।

 इस तरह से अगर आप एक बार दम आलू बनाएंगे तो आपको बार बार बनाने का मन करेगा।ये दम आलू बहुत ही टेस्टी और चटपटा होता है। ये रेसिपी मैने अपनी प्यारी मां से सीखा है।

इसमें सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि इस दम आलू को बनाने के लिए आपके घर में जो सामान है ये उसी से बन जायेगी आपको बाहर से कुछ भी मंगवाना नहीं पड़ेगा।

Ingredients used in Dum Aloo:

 1. Potatoes: 1kg boiled

 2. Onion: 6 size (grind onion finely)

 3. Coriander powder: 4 tbsp

 4. Cumin powder: 3 tbsp

 5. Black Pepper Powder: 1 tbsp

 6. Red chili powder: 2 tbsp

 7. Turmeric Powder: 1 tbsp

 8. Garam Masala Powder: 1 tbsp

 9. Cassia: 2

 10. Five hours: 1 table spoon

 11. Ghee: 2 tablespoons

 12. Mustard Oil

 13. Coriander leaves: finely chopped

 14. Salt: As per taste

 How to make Dum Aloo:

 To make Dum Aloo, the first thing to do is to peel the boiled potatoes and snuff them with a fork using a fork.  By doing this, the salt and spices will be tested till the inside of the potato.  All potatoes have to be kept completely, do not cut them.

 Now heat a pan on the gas and add oil according to the number of potatoes in it, in which the potatoes can be fried well.  When the smoke starts coming out in the oil, put all the pierced potatoes in it.

 Allow the potatoes to roast on high heat for two to three minutes, then add light salt to it and fry it till it turns red again. Take out the potatoes in a plate.  Add a little more oil in the same pan and put five ferns in it. When the five farts start crackling, add bay leaves and then put the onion we had grinded in it.  Now fry the onion till it turns a light golden color.

 Now put coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder in a bowl and add some water to it and mix it well.  As soon as the onion turns golden, put the spice in the bowl after mixing it.  Reduce the flame to high and fry all the spices till the spices smell good.

 Now pour water around four to five glasses and let it boil.  As soon as the gravy comes to a boil, put the potatoes that we had fried and put in it.

 Allow the gravy to boil well for five to ten minutes.  Ten minutes later, add coriander leaves, garam masala and ghee

 Add it and let it rest on the gas for a minute. Now turn off the gas and serve hot potato dum with rice, roti or poori.

 In this way, if you make dum potato once, then you will feel like making it again and again. These dum potatoes are very tasty and fluffy.  This is a recipe I learned from my dear mother. We all siblings like our mother's hand made potatoes.

 The best thing in this is that to make potato on its own, whatever is available in your house will be made from it, you will not have to order anything from outside.

मूंगफली बर्फी रेसिपी

देवउठनी एकादशी व्रत के दिन भगवान विष्णु को अन्न का प्रसाद नहीं चढ़ाया जाता है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन भगवान श्री हरि विष्णु को दूध, दही मखाना ड्राई फ्रूट या कोई भी फल जैसे सेब,संतरा, ईख, आदि किसी भी चीज़ से भोग लगाया जाता है।

आज मैं भगवान के प्रसाद के लिए बहुत ही टेस्टी बर्फी बताने जा रही हूं।आप सब भी भगवान के प्रसाद में इसे ज़रूर बनाएं।

बर्फी में लगने वाली सामग्री :

1. मुंगफली : 250 ग्राम

2. काजू : 150 ग्राम

3. बादाम : 50ग्राम

4.  नारियल (गोला) : 150 ग्राम (कद्दूकस किया हुआ)

5. घी : 1 टेबल स्पून

6.चीनी :200ग्राम

7. इलाइची पाउडर : 1 टेबल स्पून

बर्फी बनाने की विधि : 

गैस पर एक पैन गरम करें और सबसे पहले मूंगफली डालकर धीमी आंच पर उसे अच्छी तरह भून लें। भूने हुए मूंगफली को किसी प्लेट में निकाल लें। उसी पैन में अब काजू को डालकर 5 मिनट तक भून लें और फिर उसे भी किसी प्लेट में निकाल कर रख लें। फ़िर से उसी पैन में बादाम को डालकर उसे भी 5 मिनट तक भून लें।

मुंगफली को हथेली से मसलकर उसका छिलका हटा दें।

   अब मिक्सी के जार में पहले काजू और बादाम को डालकर उसे थोड़ा दरदरा पीस लें। मुंगफली को भी मिक्सी में डालकर उसका दरदरा पाउडर बना लें।

अब एक प्लेट में काजू, बादाम, मुंगफली और कद्दूकस किया हुआ नारियल सभी को डालकर अच्छे से मिक्स कर लें।

एक पैन में 150 ग्राम के लगभग पानी डालकर उसमें 200 ग्राम चीनी डालकर गैस पर रख दें। जब चीनी अच्छे से पानी में मिक्स हो जाए और पानी अच्छी तरह उबलने लगे तो उसमें हमने जो ड्राई फ्रूट्स का पाउडर और नारियल का बुरादा मिक्स करके रखा है उसे डाल दें। एक टेबल स्पून इलायची पाउडर डालकर सभी को अच्छे से मिक्स कर दें और गैस का आंच धीमी करके 5 मिनट तक किसी बडे़ चम्मच से चलाते रहें।

पांच मिनट बाद गैस को बंद कर दें।अब एक प्लेट में घी लगाकर रख लें और उसमें सारे मिश्रण को डालकर अच्छे तरह से थोड़ा मोटा करके ही फैला दें।

लगभग आधे से एक घंटे तक इसे ठंढा होने के लिए रख दें और फिर चाकू से बर्फी के शेप में काट लें। लीजिए तैयार है भगवान श्री हरि विष्णु के लिए ड्राई फ्रूट से बना बहुत ही आसान और टेस्टी बर्फी।

On the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, food is not offered to Lord Vishnu.  It is believed that on this day Lord Sri Hari Vishnu is offered with milk, curd Makhana dry fruit or any fruit like apple, orange, reed, etc.

 Today I am going to tell very tasty barfi for the offerings of God. You all must make it in the offerings of God.

 Barfi Ingredients:

 1. Peanut: 250 grams

 2. Cashew: 150 grams

 3. Almonds: 50 grams

 4. Coconut (Gola): 150 grams (grated)

 5. Ghee: 1 tbsp

 6. Sugar: 200 grams

 7. Cardamom Powder: 1 tbsp

 Method of preparation of Barfi:

 Heat a pan on the gas and firstly add peanuts and fry them well on low heat.  Take out the roasted peanuts in a plate.  Now put cashew nuts in the same pan and fry it for 5 minutes and then take it out in a plate.  Then add almonds to the same pan and fry it for 5 minutes.

 Crush the peanut with the palm and remove its peel.

 Now put cashew nuts and almonds first in a jar of grinder and grind them slightly coarsely.  Put groundnut in the grinder and make coarse powder.

 Now put cashew nuts, almonds, peanuts and grated coconut all in a plate and mix it well.

 Put about 150 grams of water in a pan and put 200 grams of sugar in it and keep it on the gas.  When the sugar is mixed well in the water and the water starts boiling well, then add the dry fruits powder and coconut powder mixed with it.  Add one table spoon of cardamom powder and mix all the ingredients well and keep the flame on low for 5 minutes, stirring with a big spoon.

 After five minutes, turn off the gas. Now put ghee in a plate and put all the mixture in it and spread it thickly.

 Let it cool for about half an hour and then cut it into a barfi shape with a knife.  It is ready, very easy and tasty barfi made of dry fruit for Lord Shri Hari Vishnu.

छठ महापर्व क्यों मनाया जाता है

छठ पूजा का बहुत ही विशेष महत्त्व है। छठ को महापर्व कहा जाता है। हर साल दिवाली के तीन दिन बाद यानि कार्तिक शुक्ल की चतुर्थी तिथि से लेकर षष्ठी तिथि तक छठ पर्व मनाया जाता है।

भगवान सूर्य की आराधना और छठी मैया की पूजा का चार दिवसीय पवित्र पर्व नहाय खाय के साथ शुरू किया जाता है।

छठ पूजा का पहला दिन नहाय खाय और दूसरा दिन खरना होता है। खरना के शाम में मिट्टी के चूल्हे में आम की लकड़ी से गुड़ के साथ अरवा चावल को मिलाकर खीर बनाया जाता है। खीर के साथ घी चुपड़ी रोटी और कटे हुए फलों का प्रसाद भगवान सूर्य को अर्पित किया जाता है। दूध और गंगाजल से प्रसाद में अर्घ्य देने के बाद व्रतियाँ इसे ग्रहण करती हैं।

खरना का मतलब शुद्धिकरण होता है। जो भी व्यक्ति छठ का व्रत रखता है उसे खरना वाले दिन उपवास रखना होता है।व्रति इस दिन पूरे दिन बिना पानी पिए रहकर रात में गुड़ का खीर और फल खाते हैं। खरना का प्रसाद ग्रहण करने के बाद 36 घंटे का निर्जला उपवास शुरू हो जाता है।

खरना के दूसरे दिन शाम को ढलते सूर्य और उसके अगले सुबह उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया जाता है। इस व्रत को करने के लिए छठ व्रती कठिन परीक्षाओं से गुजरते हैं।

छठ पूजा के चारों दिन व्रती ज़मीन पर चटाई बिछाकर सोते हैं। व्रती और घर के सभी सदस्य छठ पूजा के दौरान प्याज़, लहसुन और मांस, मछली नहीं खाते हैं। व्रती महिलाएं छठ व्रत के चारों दिन नए कपड़े पहनती हैं। महिलाएं साड़ी और पुरुष धोती पहनते हैं।

पूजा के लिए बांस से बने सूप और टोकड़ी का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। सूर्य देव को अर्घ्य देने तथा छठी मैया की पूजा के लिए डाला सजाया जाता है। बांस के बडे़ टोकड़े में पूजा की सामग्री, प्रसाद आदि रखा जाता है। परिवार के पुरुष सदस्य उस डाले को सिर पर रख कर घाट तक पहुंचाते हैं। घाट पर छठी मैया की पूजा होती है तथा डूबते और उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया जाता है।

छठ पूजा में साफ सफाई का बहुत ध्यान रखा जाता है। लोग करीब एक महीने पहले से ही छठ व्रत करने के लिए साफ सफाई की तैयारी शुरू कर देते हैं। व्रत के दौरान आस पास कहीं भी गंदगी देखने को नहीं मिलती है।

छठ पूजा के दौरान लोग एक दूसरे का काफी खयाल रखते हैं। हर कार्य को मिल जुलकर करते हैं। इस दौरान ना कोई बड़ा होता है और न ही कोई छोटा। अमीर गरीब सभी मिल जुलकर पूजा करते हैं। यह पर्व मुख्य तौर पर उत्तर पूर्व भारत में मनाया जाता है। खाश तौर पर बिहार और झारखंड में छठ महापर्व को बहुत धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है ।

छठ पूजा का महत्त्व बहुत अधिक माना जाता है। छठ व्रत सूर्य देव, उषा, प्रकृति, जल और वायु को समर्पित है।

ऐसा मान्यता है कि इस व्रत को श्रद्धा और विश्वास से करने से निः सन्तान स्त्रियों को सन्तान सुख की प्राप्ति होती है।

सन्तान के अलावा छठ का व्रत पति की लंबी आयु की कामना से भी रखा जाता है। इस पूजा में सुहाग के प्रतीक सिंदूर का खाश महत्त्व है। इस दिन स्त्रियां अपने पति और सन्तान के लिए बड़ी ही निष्ठा और तपस्या से व्रत रखती हैं। हिंदु धर्म में विवाह के बाद माँग में सिंदूर भरने को सौभाग्य का प्रतीक माना जाता है। छठ पूजा में सभी महिलाएं नाक से लेकर मांग तक लंबा सिंदूर लगाती हैं। मान्यता है कि मांग में लंबा सिंदूर भरने से पति की आयु लंबी होती है।

छठ पूजा का व्रत रखकर लोग अपने घर परिवार के लिए छठी मैया से अनेक प्रकार की आराधना करते हैं। कहा जाता है कि छठी मैया लोगों की सभी कामनाएं पूर्ण करती हैं।

छठ महापर्व को लेकर एक कथा भी है। प्राचीन कथा के मुताबिक प्रियंवद नामक एक राजा था। उनकी शादी मालिनी नामक स्त्री से हुई थी। शादी के सालों बाद भी प्रियंवद को सन्तान की प्राप्ति नहीं हुई थी। इस वजह से वो बहुत दुखी रहा करते थे। उन्होंने सन्तान प्राप्ति के लिए महर्षि कश्यप से विचार विमर्श कर यज्ञ करवाने का निश्चय किया।

यज्ञ की आहुति की खीर को महर्षि कश्यप ने राजा प्रियंवद की पत्नी को दिया। और उस खीर के प्रभाव से उन्हें सन्तान के रूप में पुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई। लेकिन दुख की बात यह थी कि वह मरा हुआ पैदा हुआ। पुत्र वियोग में जब राजा ने अपने प्राण त्यागने का निश्चय किया तो तभी ब्रह्मा जी की मानस पुत्री देवसेना वहां प्रकट हुई। उन्होंने राजा से पुत्र को जीवित करने के लिए छठ व्रत करने को कहा।

इस व्रत के प्रभाव से राजा प्रियंवद का पुत्र जीवित हो गया।तब से ही छठ पूजा मनाई जा रही है। बताया जाता है कि यही छठी माता हैं। श्रृष्टि की मूल प्रवृत्ति के छठे अंश से उत्पन्न होने के कारण से इन्हें छठी मैया कहते हैं।

छठी मैया से प्रार्थना है कि वो सभी को सुख समृद्धि दें। सभी को स्वस्थ रखें, और सभी माताओं को अखंड सौभाग्यवती रखें,तथा उनके संतान को भी दीर्घायु एवं स्वस्थ रखें।

Chhath Puja has a very special significance.  Chhath is called Mahaparva.  Every year, Chhath festival is celebrated three days after Diwali i.e. from Chaturthi Tithi of Kartik Shukla to Shashthi Tithi.

 The four-day holy festival of worship of Lord Surya and worship of the sixth Maiya begins with Nahai Khay.

 The first day of Chhath Puja is Nahai Khay and the second day is Kharna.  In the evening of Kharna, Kheer is made by mixing Arva rice with jaggery from mango wood in an earthen stove.  Prasad of ghee chupadi roti and chopped fruits with kheer is offered to Lord Surya.  After offering arghya to Prasad from milk and Ganga water, Vratis take it.

 Kharna means purification.  Any person who observes the fast of Chhath has to keep fast on the day of Kharna. On this day, Vratis stay without drinking water throughout the day and eat jaggery pudding and fruits at night.  A 36-hour long fast begins after receiving Kharna offerings.

 Arghya is offered on the second day of Kharna in the evening and the rising sun and the rising sun next morning.  To observe this fast, Chhath Vratis go through difficult examinations.

 On the four days of Chhath Puja, the devotees sleep by laying a mat on the ground.  Vrati and all members of the household do not eat onions, garlic and meat, fish during Chhath Puja.  Vrati women wear new clothes on all four days of Chhath Vrat.  Women wear saris and men wear dhoti.

 Bamboo soups and baskets are used for worship.  The dar is decorated to offer arghya to the sun god and worship the sixth maiya.  In a large basket of bamboo, the material of worship, offerings etc. are kept.  The male members of the family keep the cast on the head and carry it to the ghat.  The sixth maiya is worshiped at the ghat and arghya is offered to the setting sun and rising sun.

 Chhath Puja takes great care of cleanliness.  People start preparing for cleaning for Chhath Vrat about one month in advance.  During the fast, dirt is not seen anywhere around.

 People take great care of each other during Chhath Puja.  Let's do every task together.  During this time there is neither big nor small.  The rich and the poor all worship together.  This festival is mainly celebrated in North East India.  In Bihar and Jharkhand in particular, Chhath Mahaparva is celebrated with great pomp.

 Chhath Puja is considered very important.  Chhath Vrat is dedicated to Sun God, Usha, Nature, Water and Air.

 It is believed that by observing this fast with reverence and faith, the children of a child get child happiness.

 Apart from children, the fast of Chhath is also kept by the husband's long-cherished wish.  In this puja, vermilion of vermilion, the symbol of Suhag, is important.  On this day, women fast for their husband and children with great fidelity and penance.  In Hinduism, filling vermilion in demand after marriage is considered a symbol of good luck.  In Chhath Puja, all the women apply long vermilion from nose to demand.  It is believed that filling a vermilion in demand lends a husband's life.

 People do many types of worship with Chhath Maiya for their home family by keeping the fast of Chhath Puja.  It is said that the sixth maiya fulfills all the wishes of the people.

 There is also a story about Chhath Mahaparva.  According to ancient legend there was a king named Priyamvad.  He was married to a woman named Malini.  Even after years of marriage, Priyamvand did not get children.  Because of this he used to be very sad.  He decided to perform a yagna in consultation with Maharishi Kashyap to get children.

 Maharishi Kashyap gave the pudding of the sacrifice to the wife of King Priyamvad.  And with the influence of that Kheer, he got a son as a child.  But the sad thing was that he was born dead.  When the king decided to give up his life in disconnection, then Devasena, the psyche daughter of Brahma Ji appeared there.  He asked the king to observe Chhath Vrat to bring the son alive.

 With the effect of this fast, the son of King Priyamvada became alive. Since then Chhath Puja is being celebrated.  It is said that this is the sixth mother.  They are called the sixth maiya because they originate from the sixth part of the original tendency of Srishti.

 The sixth prayer is to Maiah to give happiness and prosperity to all.  Keep everyone healthy

भगवान श्री कृष्ण द्वारा उद्धव जी को प्रेम को समझाने के लिए वृंदावन भेजना

श्री कृष्ण जब मथुरा के राजा थे तो उनके साथ उनके सबसे प्यारे मित्र उद्धव जी रहते थे। भगवान प्रेम से ऊपर किसी चीज को नहीं मानते थे और उनके मित्र उद्धव जी के लिए सबसे ऊपर ज्ञान था। वो प्रेम को ज़रा भी नहीं मानते थे।

देखने में वे बिल्कुल भगवान के जैसे ही थे।ज्ञान तो उन्होंने देवताओं के गुरु बृहस्पति जी से प्राप्त की थी।उद्धव जी बहुत बड़े ज्ञानी थे। पर प्रेम को वो बिल्कुल नहीं मानते थे। भगवान हमेशा कोशिश करते थे कि उद्धव जी भी प्रेम को समझें उन्होंने बहुत बार कोशिश की उन्हें प्रेम को समझाने की परन्तु वो हर बार असफल रहे।

भगवान के कमरे में एक बड़ी सी खिड़की थी, उस खिड़की से वृंदावन का तट दिखता था।एक दिन भगवान शाम को जब राज काज का काम निपटाकर अपने कमरे में आते हैं तो वो अपने कमरे की खिड़की पर खड़े होकर देख रहे थे। अचानक से उन्हें वृंदावन की बहुत याद आने लगी। उन्हें ऐसा लग रहा था कि आज कोई तो दिख जाए। 

अचानक उसी यमुना तट से कुछ ग्वाल बाल जा रहे थे। भगवान को बहुत समय हो गया तो अब नए ग्वाल बाल आ गए हैं। ग्वाल बाल गैया चराकर घर लौट रहे थे। भगवान कहते हैं कि अरे ये तो वही समय है जब मैं, श्री दामा, मुद मंगल, मधु मंगल सब गईया चराकर घर लौटते थे। 

ऐसा यादों का भाव उठा कि भगवान एक बार को भूल गए कि वो कहां हैं और ज़ोर ज़ोर से चिल्लाने लगे अरे श्री दामा रुको मैं भी आ रहा हूं। अरे मुद मंगल जल्दी चलो आज गैया चराते चराते बड़ी देर हो गई है मैया बहुत गुस्सा करेगी।

उन्हें ऐसा लग रहा है कि वो वृंदावन में हैं।जब ध्यान भटकता है तो लीला अदृश्य हो जाती है भगवान ज़ोर ज़ोर से रोने लगते हैं। उनके रोने की आवाज़ सुनकर उद्धव जी दौड़कर आते हैं और भगवान को हृदय से लगा लेते हैं। भगवान आप रो रहे हैं। भगवान कहते हैं मुझे वृंदावन की बहुत याद आ रही है।

मुझे मेरी यशोदा मैया, मुझे मेरे नंद बाबा की बहुत याद आ रही है। मुझे गोपियों की बहुत याद आ रही है और सबसे ज्यादा दुख तो मैंने अपनी राधे को दिया है। जाने कितनी देर तक भगवान राधे राधे राधे राधे कह कर रोते रहे। उद्धव जी पर फिर भी ज़रा सा भी असर नहीं हुआ। उद्धव जी कहते हैं भगवान इसमें रोने की क्या बात है। आप उन अनपढ़ गंवार ब्रजवासियों को ज्ञान से समझा सकते थे।

भगवान कहते हैं तुम्हें कैसे पता कि वो अनपढ़ गंवार हैं। उद्धव जी कहते हैं वो कहां गुरुकुल गए हैं, वो तो दूध दही बेचते थे। भगवान कहते हैं कि ऐसे तो मैं भी एक ही वर्ष गुरुकुल गया तो मैंने क्या सीख लिया।

उद्धव जी कहते हैं कि अरे आप से तो ज्ञान की शुरुआत है, आपको ज्ञान की ज़रूरत ही कहां है। भगवान समझ गए कि जिस मौके का भगवान इतने समय से इंतज़ार कर रहे थे वो मौका आ गया है। भगवान ने कहा सही कहा मैं समझा ना सका उन्हें। तुम ब्रज जाओ नन्द बाबा, गोपियों और यशोदा मैया से मिलो और उन्हें समझाओ कि वो रोना धोना छोड़े और ज्ञान मार्ग पर चले।

उद्धव जी को अपने ज्ञान पर इतना भरोसा है कि वो कहते हैं ठीक है चला जाऊंगा। भगवान ने उन्हें अपना मुकुट, कुंडल और वस्त्र दिए। उद्धव जी ने कहा इसकी क्या ज़रूरत है। भगवान ने कहा इसके बिना बात करना तो दूर कोई तुम्हें देखेगा भी नहीं। उद्धव जी ने कहा ठीक है।

उद्धव जी वृंदावन जाते हैं और गोपियों से पूछते हैं कि नंद बाबा का घर कहां है। गोपियां कहती हैं मथुरा वाले ही पूछते हैं नन्द बाबा का घर कहां है वरना पूरे वृंदावन वालों को पता है नन्द बाबा यानि कृष्ण का घर। गोपियों ने कहा ये जो जलधारा जा रहा है ना इसके साथ साथ जाओ ये जहां जाकर रुकेगा वो नन्द बाबा का घर है। गोपियां कहती हैं इस जल को साधारण जल मत समझना। जब से तुम मथुरा वासी हमारे कृष्ण को लेकर गए हो ना तो नन्द बाबा और यशोदा मैया के जो अश्रु जल बह रहे हैं ये वही जल है।

उद्धव जी नन्द बाबा के घर पहुंचते हैं और बाहर से आवाज़ लगाते हैं नन्द बाबा ओ नन्द राय जी। भीतर से एक साधारण सी आवाज़ आती है कौन है। उद्धव जी कहते हैं मैं हूं कृष्ण का मित्र उद्धव, कृष्ण का संदेश लेकर आया हूं। एक दुबला पतला सा व्यक्ति बाहर आता है। आंखें अंदर तक धंसी हुई, कांपती हुई आवाज़ कहो कहो मैं नंद राय हूं। ठाकुर जी ने जो हुलिया बताया था नंद बाबा का उससे ज़रा सा भी वो मेल नहीं खा रहा है। उद्धव जी उनका चरण छूते हैं और कहते हैं माफ करना बाबा मैंने आपको पहचान ना सका। नंद बाबा उद्धव जी को अंदर ले जाकर बैठाते हैं।

नंद बाबा कहते हैं तुम बैठो मैं खाना लेकर आता हूं, लेकर आता हूं यानि घर में खाने का एक दाना तक नहीं है।जब नंद बाबा खाना लाने बाहर जाते हैं तो उद्धव जी रसोई घर को देखते हैं। रसोई घर में जाले लगे हुए हैं मानो जब से कृष्ण गया है तब से उस घर में खाना नहीं बना है।

बाबा उद्धव जी को भोजन करवाते हैं और कहते हैं कि तुम थक गए होगे अब तुम आराम करो। उद्धव जी कहते हैं कि अरे बाबा बात नहीं करोगे क्या? मेहमान बनकर थोड़े ही आया हूं। मैं आपसे कुछ बात करने आया हूं। संदेश लेकर आया हूं कुछ। नंद बाबा बैठते हैं वो कुछ कहें इससे पहले यशोदा मैया आती है। पहली नज़र जैसे ही उद्धव जी पर पड़ती है ज़ोर से भागती हैं अरे कन्हैया तू आ गया। नंद बाबा कहते हैं ये कन्हैया नहीं है उसका मित्र है। कृष्ण का संदेश लेकर आया है। मैया कहती है संदेश लेकर आया है? कृष्ण जब छोटा था न तो वो जब रोता था तो मैं बड़े से बड़ा काम को छोड़कर उसे गोद में ले लेती थी वो रोए ना वो दुखी ना हो बस।

आज़ उसकी माता कब से रो रही है वो आ नहीं सकता, मित्र को भेजा है। उद्धव जी कहते हैं मैया कृष्ण को खुदगर्ज मत समझना। अरे वो आप सबको बहुत याद करता है। मैं जब यहां आ रहा था तो देवकी माता ने मुझसे कि यशोदा से जाकर कहना, यशोदा धन्य है तेरे लालन पालन को। लेकिन जब भगवान वहां रह रहे थे ना तो एक बार देवकी माता ने बातें की थी यशोदा मैया से यानि एक व्यक्ति को भेजा था कृष्ण का पसंद नापसंद पूछने के लिए। देवकी माता कहती हैं तुमने कहा था तुम्हारा बेटा बहुत चंचल है। दिन भर भागता दौड़ता रहता है, खेल कूद करता रहता है। परन्तु यहां तो वो घर के बाहर पैर नहीं रखता। अरे चंचल तो दूर की बात मैंने आज तक उसको मुस्कुराते हुए नहीं देखा कि कृष्ण मुस्कुराता कैसे है।

तुमने कहा था कि कृष्ण खाने पीने का बड़ा शौकीन है। तुम उसे दिन में आठ बार भोजन करवाती हो। एक दिन मैंने उसके लिए गौ रस से बनी एक मिठाई बनाई, जो कृष्ण थाली को हाथ जोड़कर बैठता था वो उस दिन थाली छोड़कर चला गया। जाकर कहता है देवकी माता से कहना मेरी थाली में गौ रस से बनी मिठाई ना रखे,मुझे मेरी यशोदा मैया की बहुत याद आती है, मुझे मेरे ब्रज की याद आती है।

यशोदा मैया इससे ज्यादा सुन ही ना सकी, वो मूर्छा को प्राप्त हो गई। नंद बाबा उन्हें अंदर ले जाकर सुला देते हैं। वो कहते हैं ये इतनी ही देर सोती है जब तक मूर्छा को प्राप्त होती है, वरना पागलों की तरह घूमती रहती है। हर घर में जाती है दरवाज़। खट खटाएगी और पूछेगी कृष्ण आया क्या? वो चोरी करता है ना मुझे पता है कि तुमने उसे बांध कर रखा है। उसको वापस कर दो, मैं उसके बिना नहीं रह सकती हूं ।

वो चोरी नहीं करेगा, मैं अपने घर में बांध के रखूंगी उसे।वो किसी के घर नहीं जाएगा। तुम उसको लौटा दो बस। वृक्षों से पूछती है तुमने मेरे कृष्ण को देखा क्या? बहुत चंचल है ना बहुत इधर उधर घूमता है। कहां चला गया वो। गोवर्धन पर्वत से पूछती कि अरे तुम्हारी तो उसने पूजा करवाई थी। तुमसे बहुत प्यार करता है वो तुमने उसको देखा क्या? उससे कहना उसकी माता उसे बहुत याद करती है, उसके बिना मैं नहीं रह पा रही हूं।

उद्धव जी को अपना काम याद आता है। उन्होंने कहा बाबा आप बहुत सौभाग्यशाली हो कि आपके घर कृष्ण आया। परन्तु जिसको आप बार बार अपना बेटा बेटा, पुत्र पुत्र कह रहे हो वो किसी का पुत्र नहीं है। वो परम पिता परमेश्वर भगवान विष्णु का अवतार है। वो किसी का पुत्र नहीं, वो किसी का पिता नहीं वो भगवान हैं। वो तो केवल उनकी लीला थी कि वो आपके घर आए।

नंद बाबा कहते हैं मैंने तो तुम्हें बहुत समझदार बालक समझा था पर तुम तो बड़े साधारण से बालक निकले। क्या कहा वो भगवान है अरे भगवान के एक लक्षण नहीं हैं उसमे।

भगवान सबका पेट भरते हैं। अन्न का भंडार हैं। कहा जाता है ना कि वो किसी को भूखा नहीं सोने देते, तो जिसके घर में अन्न का भंडार होगा वो भूख से तड़प सकता है क्या? मैंने कितनी बार कृष्ण को भूख से तड़पते बिलखते हुए देखा है। भूख से रोता हुआ यशोदा के पास आकर कहता मुझे बहुत ज़ोर की भूख लगी मैया।सब काम छोड़कर मुझे पहले भोजन दो। तुम कहते हो भगवान है, भगवान क्या कहते हैं सत्य की राह पर चलो। मेरा बेटा बात बात पर झूठ बोलता है, चोरी करता है।

तुम कहते हो भगवान है चलो मैंने मान लिया वो भगवान है। भगवान से कभी गलती तो नहीं हो सकती है तो मुझसे गलती हुई ना कि मैंने उसे बेटा कहा। उसने ना जाने कितनी बार मुझे बाबा कहा है और यशोदा को मैया कहा है। जब गोपियां उसे चिढ़ाती नंद बाबा गोरे, यशोदा मैया गोरी, बलदाऊ गोरे तू कहां से आ गया काला तू इनका बेटा नहीं है तो क्रोधित हो जाता और आकर कहता मैया कह दे जा मरी से कि मैं तेरो छोरो हूं।

तुम कहते हो भगवान है और चलो मैंने मान लिया वो भगवान है और तुम्हें क्या लगता है कि तुम्हारा ये कहना कि वो भगवान है मेरी विरह वेदना कम कर देगा क्या? उद्धव जी बोले हां आप ये रोना धोना छोड़ कर ज्ञान की राह पर चलिए।

नंद बाबा कहते हैं तुम ज्ञानी जन एक ही बात समझाते हो ना कि कोई गलत राह मत चुनो। दुख आए संकट आए हर कोई साथ छोड़ दिया तो एक ही साथ रहता है और वो है भगवान। नंद बाबा ने कहा कि मैं आज़ तक इस बात से दुखी था कि मेरे बेटे ने मुझे छोड़ दिया कोई बात नहीं बहुतों के बेटे ऐसे होते हैं कि अपने माता पिता को छोड़ देते हैं, पर भगवान तो है ना। भगवान के सहारे जीता हूं यही सोचकर जी रहा था मैं आज़ तक। पर तुमने मुझे ये क्या बताया, तुमने कहा कि वो मेरा बेटा नहीं वो भगवान है यानि भगवान मेरा घर छोड़कर चले गए।

जिसके सहारे मैं जी रहा था वही मुझे छोड़कर चला गया। अब किसके लिए जिऊं। क्यों रहूं मैं अब, तुमने तो मुझसे जीने की उम्मीद ही छीन ली। अरे अब तक तो इतना दुख नहीं था ये सोचकर कि बेटा छोड़ कर चला गया और अब तो इतना ज्यादा दुख है कि भगवान छोड़ कर चले गए। कितने पाप किए होंगे मैंने पता नहीं कि भगवान मेरा घर छोड़कर चले गए।

उद्धव जी को एक शब्द नहीं सूझ रहा था। क्या सूझे भी सब यही कहते हैं हम भी तो यही कहते हैं सब साथ छोड़ देता है पर भगवान कभी साथ नहीं छोड़ते उनके सहारे जियो। परन्तु उद्धव जी ने जो कहा उनके हिसाब से तो भगवान ही नंद बाबा का घर छोड़कर चले गए। अब वो किसके सहारे जियें। उद्धव जी वहां से बिना कुछ कहे चले जाते हैं। कोई जवाब नहीं मिल रहा है सारे ज्ञान की बातें धरी रह गई उनकी।

थोड़ी दूर जाते हैं गोपियां दिखती हैं। उनसे मिलते हैं। गोपियों ने उन्हें बैठाया। गोपियां कहती हैं कृष्ण ने भेजा है तुम्हें। उद्धव जी कहते हैं तुम्हें कैसे पता। बोलो ये कपड़े कृष्ण ने पहनाए होंगे तुम्हें, ये कुंडल, ये मुकुट और ये पीतांबर ।

उद्धव जी ने कहा हां कृष्ण ने ये पहनाया मुझे। गोपियां कहती हैं वो हमें अपना ऐश्वर्य दिखा रहे हैं क्या? बहुत गुस्सा है उनके अंदर, बहुत ज्यादा प्रेम करती हैं वो भगवान से और भगवान उनको छोड़कर चले गए। वो कहती हैं कि हमें अपना ऐश्वर्य दिखा रहे हैं कि वो राजा बन गए हैं। उद्धव जी कहते हैं इतना क्रोधित होने की क्या बात है। अरे कृष्ण ने संदेश भेजा है तुम्हारे लिए, उन्होंने कहा है कि रोना धोना छोड़ कर ज्ञान मार्ग पर चलो।

गोपियां कहती हैं और ज्ञान मार्ग पर चलकर क्या होगा उद्धव जी। उद्धव जी ने कहा अरे क्या होगा कल्याण होगा स्वर्ग की प्राप्ति होगी। गोपियां कहती हैं ठोकर मारते हैं ऐसे स्वर्ग को हम जो हमें कृष्ण से दूर कर दे और अगर कृष्ण प्रेम में रहने से हमें नर्क की प्राप्ति होगी तो जन्मों जन्मों तक नर्क में रहने को तैयार हैं हम। उसके प्रेम को तो हम नहीं छोड़ने वाले और अगर आपकी बात मान भी लें तो आपने कहा मन ज्ञान मार्ग पर लगाओ। ठीक है दिल ज्ञान मार्ग पर लगा लेते हैं लेकिन वो तो हमारे पास है ही नहीं। दिल तो हम सभी ने कृष्ण को दे दिया।

आप जाकर ला दो कृष्ण से हमारा दिल हमें तो हम उसको ज्ञान मार्ग पर लगा लेंगे। गोपियां कहती हैं कि आप बड़े ज्ञानी हैं ना तो एक बात बताईए संसार में कौन सी ऐसी प्रीति होती है जो जीवन भर रहती है, और ऐसी कौन सी प्रीति है जो बहुत जल्दी नष्ट हो जाती है। उद्धव जी कहते हैं जिसमें स्वार्थ होगा वो जल्दी नष्ट हो जाएगी और जो निः स्वार्थ प्रेम से किया जाएगा वो जीवन भर रहेगा।

गोपियों ने कहा कि हमने तो कोई स्वार्थ नहीं रखा। गोपियां कहती हैं कि अरे हमें पता है कि आप ये जबरदस्ती की बातें करने आए हैं। एक गोपी दूसरी गोपी से कहती हैं ज़रूर इसको कंस के मित्रों ने हीभेजा होगा। कंस की मृत्यु हो गई है तो उसका श्राद्ध है ज़रूर ये मांस लेने आया है। दूसरी गोपी ने कहा परन्तु यहां पर मांस कहां है,तो पहली गोपी ने कहा अरे सबको अच्छे से पता है कृष्ण के जाने के बाद हम सब मृत के तरह घूम रहे हैं। सबकी मृत्यु हो गई है मानो सब जीने को जी रहे हैं। श्मशान घाट बन गया है वृंदावन दूसरी गोपी कहती है कि अगर ये हृदय मांगेंगे तो तुम अपना हृदय दे दोगी क्या? पहली गोपी बोली क्यों नहीं अरे मामा के श्राद्ध में भांजा भी तो होगा, सारे काम तो वही देख रहा होगा।

हम उससे नहीं मिल सकते पर हमारे हृदय को देखते ही वो पहचान जाएगा कि ये किस गोपी का हृदय है। उद्धव जी कहते हैं कि कहां अभी कह रही थी कि राजा बन गया है और ऐश्वर्य दिखाने भेजा है और उसके लिए इतना बड़ा त्याग करने को तैयार हो। केवल उसकी ही बातें करती हो।  उससे ही प्रेम करती हो। गोपियों गोपियों ने कहा यही तो प्रेम है कि कारे को छोरो जा सकै पर कारे की कथा ना छोड़ी जाय। यानि वो साथ नहीं है परन्तु उसकी बातें करना नहीं बंद कर सकते, वही तो अब जीने का आधार है हमारा। गोपियां कहती हैं कि आपको हमारी बातें नहीं समझ आ रही हैं, आपको लगता है पागल हैं सब। सबको यही लगता है।

सब यही कहते हैं कि सब पागल हैं। पर हमें किसी को समझाना भी नहीं क्योंकि हमारी बातें या तो हम समझते हैं या फिर कृष्ण समझता है। उद्धव जी के पास कोई जवाब नहीं होता।वो निः शब्द रह जाते हैं और चुपचाप वहां से भी उठकर पागलों की भांति मथुरा की ओर प्रस्थान करते हैं। उनका हृदय अंदर से दहल उठा। उनकी सारी ज्ञान की बातें धरी रह गई।

उद्धव जी मथुरा पहुंचते हैं। ठाकुर जी के कमरे में जैसे ही प्रवेश करते हैं भगवान कहते हैं कि अरे उद्धव आने में बड़ी देर कर दी। उद्धव जी कहते हैं कृपालु, दयालु, करुणानिधि ये सारे मनगढ़ंत नाम हैं आपके। ये आपने खुद से रखे हैं। भगवान कहते हैं मेरा तुम्हें वृंदावन भेजना सफल हुआ, क्योंकि इस लहज़े में तो केवल गोपियां ही मुझसे बात कर सकती हैं और किसी की हिम्मत नहीं है कि वो मुझसे इस लहज़े में बात करे। उद्धव जी भगवान से गले लगकर रोने लगते हैं।

 When Shri Krishna was the king of Mathura, his best friend Uddhav lived with him.  God did not believe in anything above love and for his friend Uddhav ji was the highest knowledge.  He did not believe in love at all.

 He was just like God in seeing. He received knowledge from Jupiter ji, the guru of the gods. Udhav ji was very knowledgeable.  But he did not believe in love at all.  God always tried that Uddhav ji also understood love, he tried many times to convince him of love but he failed every time.

 There was a big window in the Lord's room, from that window, the coast of Vrindavan was seen. One day when Lord came to his room in the evening, after dealing with the work of Raj Kaj, he was standing and looking at the window of his room.  Suddenly he started remembering Vrindavan very much.  It seemed to him that someone could be seen today.  Suddenly some Gwal Bal was going from the same Yamuna coast.  It has been a long time for God, so now new cow hair has arrived.  Gwal Bal Gaia was returning home after grazing.  God says that this is the time when I, Shri Dama, Mud Mangal, Madhu Mangal used to graze and return home.  There was such a feeling of memories that God once forgot where he is and shouted loudly, oh Mr. Dama, wait, I am also coming.  Hey Mud Mangal, hurry up today, Gaia grazing grazing is very late. Maia will get very angry.

 

 They feel that they are in Vrindavan. When meditation deviates, Leela becomes invisible. God starts crying out loud.  Hearing the sound of his cry, Uddhav comes running and engages the Lord with his heart.  God you are crying.  God says I miss Vrindavan very much.

 I miss my Yashoda mother, I miss my Nanda Baba very much.  I miss the gopis very much and I have given the most sorrow to my Radhe.  Know how long God kept crying while saying Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe.  Uddhav ji was still not affected at all.  Uddhav ji says what is God crying about in it.  You could explain those illiterate proud Brajwasis with knowledge.

 God says how do you know that they are illiterate people.  Uddhav ji says where he has gone to Gurukul, he used to sell milk curd.  God says that even if I went to Gurukul for the same year, what have I learned?

 Uddhav ji says that hey is the beginning of knowledge from you, where do you need knowledge.  God understood that the chance that God had been waiting for so long has come.  God said right, I could not understand them.  You go to Braj, meet Nand Baba, Gopis and Yashoda Maiya and explain to them that they should stop crying and go on the path of knowledge.

 Uddhav ji is so confident in his knowledge that he says it will be okay.  God gave him his crown, coil and clothes.  Uddhav ji said what is the need of it.  God said, without talking, nobody will see you far away.  Uddhav ji said it is fine.

 

 Uddhav ji goes to Vrindavan and asks the gopis where Nand Baba's house is.  The gopis say that the people of Mathura ask where is the house of Nand Baba or else the people of Vrindavan know the house of Nand Baba i.e. Krishna.  The gopis said that this stream which is going on, do not go along with it, where it will stop, it is Nand Baba's house.  Gopis say do not consider this water as ordinary water.  Ever since you have taken our Krishna to Mathura, neither the tearful waters of Nand Baba and Yashoda Maiya are flowing.

 Uddhav ji reaches Nand Baba's house and makes a voice from outside.  Who is a simple voice from within.  Uddhav ji says I am Krishna's friend Uddhav, I have come with Krishna's message.  A lean skinny person comes out.  Eyes are deep inside, trembling voice, say, I am Nand Rai.  The hulia that Thakur had told, he does not match even a little bit of Nand Baba.  Uddhav ji touches his feet and says sorry Baba I could not recognize you.  Nand Baba takes Uddhav ji inside and sits.

 Nand Baba says you sit, I bring food, I bring it, that is, there is not even a grain of food in the house. When Nand Baba goes out to fetch food, Uddhav ji sees the kitchen.  The webs are engaged in the kitchen as if food has not been made in that house since Krishna has gone.

 

 Baba feeds Uddhav ji and says that you must be tired, now you rest.  Uddhav ji says hey baba won't you talk?  I have come a few times as a guest.  I have come to talk to you.  I have brought some message  Nand Baba sits before Yashoda Maia comes before he says anything.  As soon as the first glance falls on Uddhav ji, she runs loudly, oh Kanhaiya, you have come.  Nand Baba says this is not Kanhaiya, his friend.  Has brought the message of Krishna.  Maiya says bring the message?  When Krishna was younger, when he used to cry, I used to leave his biggest job and take him in his lap, he did not cry nor should he be sad.

 When his mother has been crying, he cannot come, has sent a friend.  Uddhav ji says do not consider Maaya Krishna as self-respecting.  Hey, he misses you all so much.  When I was coming here, Mother of Devaki asked me to go to Yashoda and tell me, Yashoda is blessed to follow you.  But when God was staying there, neither did Devaki Mata once talk to Yashoda Maiya, that is, he had sent a person to ask dislike of Krishna.  Devaki Mata says you said your son is very fickle.  Runs throughout the day, keeps on playing.  But here he does not set foot outside the house.  Oh fickle, I have not seen him smiling till today, how Krishna smiles.

 

 You said that Krishna is very fond of eating and drinking.  You make him eat eight times a day.  One day I made a dessert made of cow juice for him, who used to sit with folded hands on Krishna thali and that day he left the thali and went away.  Go and say to Devaki Mata, don't keep sweets made from cow juice in my plate, I miss my Yashoda Maiya very much, I miss my Braj.

 Yashoda Maiya could not hear more than that, she got it.  Nand Baba takes them to sleep.  They say that it sleeps till the time the idol attains, or else keeps on walking like crazy.  Every door goes to the door.  Will you knock and will Krishna ask?  He steals doesn't I know you tied him up.  Return it, I can't live without it.

 

 He will not steal, I will keep him tied up in my house. He will not go to anyone's house.  You just return it.  Do you ask the trees have you seen my Krishna?  It is very fickle, it moves around here and there.  Where has he gone?  Govardhan used to ask the mountain that he had worshiped you.  Do you see him that loves you so much?  Telling him his mother misses him a lot, I can't live without him.

 Uddhav ji remembers his work.  He said, Baba, you are very fortunate that Krishna came to your house.  But the one whom you are repeatedly calling your son, son and son, is not someone's son.  He is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Supreme Father.  He is not the son of anyone, he is not the father of anyone, he is God.  It was just his pastime that he came to your house.

 Nand Baba says, I thought you were a very intelligent child, but you turned out to be a very simple child.  What he said is God, he is not a symptom of God.

 

 God feeds everyone.  There are granaries.  It is said that if they do not let anyone go to bed hungry, then the person who has a stock of food can suffer from hunger?  How many times have I seen Krishna weeping with hunger.  Crying with hunger, coming to Yashoda and saying, I am very hungry, my dear. Leave all work and give me food first.  You say there is God, what God says, follow the path of truth.  My son lies on the matter, steals.

 You say there is God, let me assume that God is there.  There can never be a mistake with God, so I made a mistake, not that I called him son.  He does not know how many times I have called Baba and Yashoda has been called Maiya.  When the gopis used to tease him, Nand Baba Gore, Yashoda Maiya Ghori, Baldau Gore, where did you come from?

 You say that God is there and I have accepted that he is God and what do you think that your saying that he is God will reduce my pain?  Uddhavji said, yes, you stop crying and go on the path of knowledge.

 

 Nand Baba says: You wise people explain the same thing and don't choose a wrong path.  If there is a crisis, everyone comes together and stays together, and that is God.  Nand Baba said that I was saddened by the fact that my son left me. It doesn't matter that many sons leave their parents, but God is there.  I live with the help of God, thinking I was living for free.  But what did you tell me, you said that he is not my son, he is God, that is, God left my house and left.

 The person I was living with supported me and left me.  Now for whom should I live?  Why should I stay now, you have taken away the hope of living from me.  Oh, there was not so much grief till now thinking that the son left and went away and now there is so much grief that God left.  How many sins I must have committed, I do not know that God left my house and left.

 Uddhav ji was not thinking of a word.  Do we all say the same thing, we also say the same, everyone leaves together, but God never leaves them, live with them.  But according to what Uddhavji said, God left Nand Baba's house.  Now with whom do they live?  Uddhav ji goes from there without saying anything.  They are not getting any answers, their knowledge of all the knowledge has been lost.

 Gopis look a little farther.  See them.  The gopis made them sit.  Gopis say that Krishna has sent you.  Uddhav ji says how do you know.  Say, these clothes must have been worn by Krishna to you, this coil, this crown and this Pitambara.

 

 Uddhav ji said yes Krishna wore this to me.  Gopis say that they are showing us their opulence?  There is a lot of anger in them, they love God very much and God left them and left.  She says that she is showing us her opulence that she has become king.  Uddhav ji says what is the matter of being so angry.  Hey Krishna has sent a message for you, he has said that stop crying and go on the path of knowledge.

 Gopis say what will happen by walking on the path of knowledge, Uddhav ji.  Uddhav ji said, "Hey, what will happen, will there be welfare? Heaven will be achieved."  Gopis say that we stumble on such a paradise that turns us away from Krishna, and if we will get hell by staying in Krishna's love, then we are ready to live in hell for many lives.  We are not going to give up his love, and even if you listen to us, then you said, put your mind on the path of knowledge.  OK, the heart takes you to the path of knowledge, but we don't have it.  We all gave heart to Krishna.

 

 You go and bring our heart to Krishna, then we will put him on the path of knowledge.  The gopis say that you are very knowledgeable, nor tell me one thing which is the kind of love that lasts in the world, and which is the kind of love which is destroyed very quickly.  Uddhav ji says that in which selfishness will happen, it will soon be destroyed and what will be done with selfish love will last a lifetime.

 The gopis said that we did not keep any selfishness.  Gopis say, "Hey, we know you have come to talk about these forces."  One gopi says to the other gopi, it must have been sent by Kansa's friends.  If Kansa has died, then he is a Shraadh, he has definitely come to take meat.  The second Gopi said, but where is the meat here, then the first Gopi said, "Hey everybody knows very well that after Krishna's departure, we are all roaming like dead."  Everybody has died as if everyone is living to live.  The crematorium has become a ghat Vrindavan second gopi says if you ask for this heart, will you give your heart?  Why didn't the first Gopi say, Hey, there will be a nephew in the uncle's shraddha, he will be watching all the work.

 We cannot meet him, but by looking at our heart, he will recognize which gopi's heart it is.  Uddhav ji says that where was it now saying that the king has been made and sent to show the majesty and be ready to make such a big sacrifice for him.  You only talk about that.  Do you love him only?  Gopis Gopis said that this is the love that can leave the car but do not leave the story of the car.  That is, he is not with us but cannot stop talking about it, that is the basis of our living now.  Gopis say that you do not understand our words, you think everyone is crazy.  This is what everyone thinks.

 Everyone says that everyone is crazy.  But we do not have to explain to anyone because we either understand our words or Krishna understands them.  Uddhav ji has no answer. They remain silent and silently rise from there too and go madly towards Mathura.  His heart shook from inside.  All his knowledge was lost.

 

Uddhav ji reaches Mathura.  As soon as Thakur ji enters the room, God says that he was very late in coming Uddhav.  Uddhav ji says kind, compassionate, Karunanidhi, all these concocted names are yours.  You have kept these to yourself.  God says I was successful in sending you to Vrindavan, because only gopis can talk to me in this tone and no one has the courage to speak to me in this tone.  Uddhav ji hugs from God and starts crying.
