उमापति मिश्र जी महाराज की पहनी हुई माला पहनते थे प्रभु श्री राम

* कहते हैं भगवान तो केवल भाव के भूखे हैं, उन्हें और कुछ भी नहीं चाहिए। किसी भी चीज का अहंकार करना बहुत ही खतरनाक होता है चाहे वह अपने रूप का हो, सौंदर्य का हो, पैसे का हो या फिर यौवन का हो।

*परंतु एक अहंकार बहुत फायदा करता है भक्ति में और वो होता है अपने इष्ट का अहंकार।

*यदि एक अहंकार हमारे अंदर हो कि ठाकुर जी केवल मेरे और मैं केवल ठाकुर जी का भक्ति में ऐसा अहंकार भक्ति को बढ़ाता है।

*उमापति मिश्र को एक अहंकार था भक्ति का कि राम मेरा शिष्य है। उन्होंने राम के अलावा अपने जीवन में किसी और को  अपना शिष्य नहीं बनाया था, और कनक भवन छोर के वो कहीं जाते भी नहीं थे।

*एक बार की बात है की एक राजा ने बहुत बड़ा महल बनवाने का निश्चय किया। उसने संत उमापति मिश्र को अपने महल में बुलाया और उनसे कहा कि आप उस महल का शिलान्यास करवाएं , पूजन करवाएं और मैं आपको सवा लाख स्वर्ण मुद्राएं भेंट करूंगा।

*उसपर उमापति मिश्र जी महाराज ने राजा से बड़े ही विनम्रता से कहा कि भले ही आप चाहे कितने बड़े ही राजा क्यों न हों ,लेकिन जब राजा राम मेरा शिष्य है तो मैं अब किसी दूसरे के द्वार पर नहीं जाऊंगा चाहे मुझे कितना भी धन मिले।

*भगवान को पाने के लिए सच्ची भक्ति सबसे सरल रास्ता है। संत उमापति मिश्र महाराज की ऐसी अगाध भक्ति को देखकर स्वयं हनुमान जी की गर्दन श्रद्धा से झुक गई।

*ये एक सच्ची घटना पर आधारित कथा है। संत उमापति मिश्र जी महाराज जो कि लगभग सौ साल पहले अयोध्या में रहते थे।

*उनका मानना था कि श्री कनक भुवन बिहारी जी अर्थात श्री राम चंद्र जी उनके शिष्य हैं और चुकी शिष्य बेटे के समान होता है तो उनकी पत्नी जानकी जी वो मेरी बहु के समान हैं।

*वो जब भी कनक भवन मंदिर जाते थे तो एक सुगंधित फूल की माला या तो वो खुद बना कर ले जाते थे, या तो बाजार से खरीद कर ले जाते थे।

*उस माला को राम जी के सम्मुख खड़े होकर पहनते थे और हंसकर कहते थे कि राम देख ये कितनी सुंदर माला मैं पहन रहा हूं और ये मैं तेरे लिए ही लाया हूं।

*अब मेरी पहनी हुई माला प्रसाद के रूप में तू पहन और मेरा आशिर्वाद प्राप्त कर। इस तरह वो अपनी पहनी हुई माला उतार करके पुजारी जी को देते थे और कहते थे, कि मेरी पहनी हुई माला राजा राम जी को अर्थात श्री कनक बिहारी जी को पहनाओ उसे प्रसन्नता होगी।

*पुजारी जी बड़े भाव से उमापति मिश्र जी के पहने हुए माला को भगवान को पहना देते थे। एक बार मंदिर में एक नया पुजारी आया और उसने उनके पहने हुए माला को भगवान को पहनाने से इनकार कर दिया।

*पुजारी जी ने कहा कि भला भगवान को कोई अपनी पहनी हुई माला पहनाता है क्या? भगवान को पहनाया हुआ माला भक्त लोग पहनते हैं।

*आप दूसरी माला लेकर आओ मैं ये पहनी हुई माला भगवान को नहीं पहनाऊंगा। उमापति मिश्र ने दूसरी माला लाकर पुजारी जी को दिया , जब पुजारी जी माला पहनाने लगे तो वो टूट गया।

*अब पुजारी जी भी अपने जिद पर अड़ गए, बोले आप तीसरी माला लेकर आओ अब तीसरी माला पहनाने लगे तो वो भी टूट कर गिर गई।

*तभी अचानक पुराने पुजारी जी आ गए उन्होंने कहा आप ऐसा हठ क्यों कर रहे हो , उमापति मिश्र श्री राम जी के गुरु हैं। गुरु की पहनी हुई माला पहनने में राजा राम जी को बड़ा ही आनंद मिलता है।

*पुजारी जी ने उमापति जी से कहा कि महाराज आप अपनी पहनी हुई माला मुझे दीजिए मैं राजा राम जी को पहना देता हूं। उमापति जी ने अपनी पहनी हुई माला पुजारी जी को दिया ,और जैसे ही पुजारी जी ने भगवान को वो माला पहनाई उन्होंने माला तुरंत पहन ली इस बार माला नहीं टूटी।

*भगवान तो केवल भाव के भूखे होते हैं। अब जब भी उमापति महाराज कनक भवन मंदिर जाते ,तो मंदिर के बाहर ही जान बूझ कर खांस कर तभी मंदिर में प्रवेश करते ताकि उन्हें पता चल जाए कि मैं आ गया।

*ऐसा करने पर वहां के लोगों ने उनसे पूछा कि आप मंदिर के बाहर खांस कर तब अंदर क्यों जाते हैं। इसपर उन्होंने कहा कि राम की पत्नी जानकी जी जो कि मेरी बहु हुई, और बहु होने के नाते वो मुझसे पर्दा करती हैं तो मुझे आता जानकर पूजारी जी जानकी जी की तरफ पर्दा कर देते हैं।

*अब उमापति महाराज के इसी भाव के कारण मंदिर में चाहे कितनी ही भीर क्यों न हो,जब भी वो मंदिर आते तो भगवान के आधे हिस्से को पर्दा से ढक दिया जाता था। जिससे जानकी जी पर्दे में रहें और ऐसा जब भी वो मंदिर आते तो होता था।

* लेकिन एक दिन पुजारी जी किसी काम में लगे थे और उमापति महाराज कनक भवन मंदिर में आए और उन्होंने जैसे ही राम को अपना माला पहनाने के लिए अपने हाथ ऊपर किए तो जानकी जी के सम्मुख पर्दा नहीं लगा हुआ था , और जानकी जी की ओर का दरवाजा अपने आप धराम से लग गया।

*आवाज सुनकर महाराज जी ने पुजारी जी से पूछा कि ये क्या हुआ, क्या तुमने जानकी जी की तरफ पर्दा नहीं लगाया था?तो पुजारी जी ने कहा कि हां महाराज काम में लगे हुए थे तो ध्यान नहीं रहा पर्दा लगाने का।

*उमापति महाराज के आंखों में आसूं आ गए, उन्होंने कहा कि राज रानी सीता को उठ करके दरवाजा लगाना पड़ा। तुम लोग इतने ज्यादा आलसी और लापरवाह हो। जब गुरु के सामने पर्दा लगाने का नियम है तो तुम उठ करके पर्दा नहीं लगा सकते हो।

*मैं सीता को ऐसा कष्ट देने नहीं आ सकता हूं। मैं अब कुछ दिनों तक मंदिर नहीं आऊंगा, तब तक तुम लोग अपने आदत का सुधार करो ।

*इस घटना के बाद उन्हें बहुत दुःख हुआ , वो सोचने लगे कि मेरे कारण सीता को तकलीफ़ हुई। अब थोड़े दिन मंदिर नहीं आऊंगा । वो वहां से थोड़े उदास से और दुःखी होकर चलते चले जा रहे थे,और सरयू तट पर पहुंचकर सोच रहे थे कि आज मैं सीता राम को अच्छे से आशिर्वाद भी नहीं दे पाया।   

*उसी समय सरयू जी के किनारे साक्षात राम और लक्ष्मण दोनों चले आ रहे थे। जब राम और लक्ष्मण ने अपने गुरु महाराज को देखा तो तुरंत धरती पर लोट कर अपने गुरु महाराज को प्रणाम किया । उमापति महाराज ने दोनों हाथ उठाकर उन्हें आशिर्वाद दिया।

*वास्तव में उमापति महाराज वशिष्ट जी के अवतार थे।  अब उस समय वहां एक और घटना घटी , वहां सरयू के तट पर हनुमान जी का एक मंदिर था।

*जब राम और लक्ष्मण अपने गुरु को दंडवत प्रणाम कर रहे थे तो हनुमान जी ने जब ये दृष्य देखा कि हमारे प्रभु अपने गुरु को दंडवत प्रणाम कर रहे हैं,तो हनुमान जी का जो श्री विग्रह अर्थात मूर्ति थी उनकी गर्दन श्रद्धा के कारण झुक गई।

*इसके बाद राम और लक्ष्मण वहां से अंतर्ध्यान हो गए, उनके गुरु उमापति मिश्र भी चले गए, लेकिन सरयू के तट पर जो हनुमान जी का मंदिर है उसमें आज भी हनुमान जी की गर्दन झुकी हुई है।

* It is said that God is only hungry for emotion, he does not want anything else.  It is very dangerous to be proud of anything, whether it is of one's appearance, beauty, money or youth.

 But an ego helps a lot in devotion and that is the ego of one's favorite.

 * * If there is an ego in us that Thakur ji is only me and I only Thakur ji's such ego in devotion increases devotion.

 Umapati Mishra had an ego of devotion that Ram is my disciple.  He had not made anyone other than Rama his disciple in his life, and he did not even go anywhere near the end of Kanak Bhavan.

 Once upon a time, a king decided to build a very big palace.  He called Saint Umapati Mishra to his palace and told him that you should get the foundation stone laid, get worship done and I will present you with 1.25 lakh gold coins.

 On that Umapati Mishra ji said very politely to the king that no matter how big a king you are, but when Raja Ram is my disciple, I will not go to anyone else's door no matter how much money I get.  .

 True devotion is the easiest way to attain God.  Seeing such undying devotion to Saint Umapati Mishra Maharaj himself, Hanuman ji's neck bowed in reverence.

 *This is a story based on a true incident.  Sant Umapati Mishra Ji Maharaj who lived in Ayodhya about a hundred years ago.

 * He believed that Shri Kanak Bhuvan Bihari ji i.e. Shri Ram Chandra ji is his disciple and if a disciple is like a son, then his wife Janaki ji is like my daughter-in-law.

 Whenever he used to go to the Kanak Bhavan temple, he used to take a garland of fragrant flowers either by making himself, or by buying it from the market.

 * He used to wear that garland standing in front of Ram ji and laughingly said that seeing Ram, I am wearing this beautiful garland and I have brought it for you only.

 * Now wear my garland as prasad and get my blessings.  In this way, he used to take off his worn garland and give it to the priest and used to say that he would be happy to wear my garland to Raja Ram ji i.e. Shri Kanak Bihari ji.

 * Priest ji used to wear the garland worn by Umapati Mishra ji to God with great enthusiasm.  Once a new priest came to the temple and refused to give the garland he was wearing to the Lord.

 * The priest said that does someone wear the garland he is wearing to God?  The garland worn by the Lord is worn by the devotees.

 * You bring another garland, I will not wear this worn garland to God.  Umapati Mishra brought another garland and gave it to the priest, when the priest started garlanding it, it broke.

 * Now the priest also stuck to his insistence, said that you come with the third garland, now if you start wearing the third garland, then it also fell apart.

 Then suddenly the old priest came, he said why are you being stubborn, Umapati Mishra is the guru of Shri Ram ji.  Raja Ram ji takes great pleasure in wearing the garland worn by the Guru.

 * Priest ji told Umapati ji that sir, give me the garland you are wearing, I give it to Raja Ram ji.  Umapati ji gave the garland he wore to the priest, and as soon as the priest garlanded the garland to God, he immediately wore the garland, this time the garland did not break.

 * God is only hungry for emotion.  Now whenever Umapati Maharaj used to go to Kanak Bhawan temple, he would deliberately cough outside the temple and enter the temple only so that he would know that I had come.

 On doing this, the people there asked him that why do you go inside after coughing outside the temple.  On this, he said that Ram's wife Janki ji, who became my daughter-in-law, and being a daughter-in-law, she veils me, then knowing me coming, Poojari ji veils towards Janki ji.

 Now because of this sentiment of Umapati Maharaj, no matter how crowded the temple was, whenever he came to the temple, half of the God was covered with a veil.  So that Janki ji should stay in the screen and this used to happen whenever she came to the temple.

 * But one day the priest was engaged in some work and Umapati Maharaj came to the Kanak Bhawan temple and as soon as he raised his hands to garland Rama, there was no curtain in front of Janki ji, and towards Janaki ji.  The door of the door got stuck on its own.

 * * Hearing the voice, Maharaj ji asked the priest that what happened, had you not put a curtain on Janki ji?

 Umapati Maharaj had tears in his eyes, he said that Queen Sita had to get up and open the door.  You guys are so lazy and careless.  When there is a rule to put a veil in front of a guru, you cannot get up and cover it.

 I cannot come to give such trouble to Sita.  I will not come to the temple for a few days now, till then you guys should improve your habit.

 After this incident, he felt very sad, he started thinking that Sita was hurt because of me.  Now I will not come to the temple for a few days.  He was walking from there a little sadly and sadly, and after reaching the Saryu bank he was thinking that today I could not even bless Sita Ram well.

 At the same time, both Rama and Lakshman were walking on the banks of Saryu ji.  When Rama and Lakshmana saw their Guru Maharaj, they immediately rolled down on the earth and bowed to their Guru Maharaj.  Umapati Maharaj raised both his hands and blessed him.

 In fact, Umapati Maharaj was an incarnation of Vashist ji.  Now at that time another incident happened there, there was a temple of Hanuman ji on the banks of Saryu.

 When Rama and Lakshman were bowing down to their guru, when Hanuman ji saw this scene that our lord was bowing down to his guru, then the idol of Hanuman ji, which was the idol, his neck bowed due to reverence.  .

 After this, Ram and Lakshman disappeared from there, their guru Umapati Mishra also left, but even today Hanuman ji's neck is bowed in the temple of Hanuman ji on the banks of Saryu.

लिट्टी चोखा रेसिपी

*लिट्टी बनाने में लगने वाली सामग्री :

1. गेहूं का आटा :250ग्राम

2.सत्तू : 200 ग्राम

3. अजवाइन :1 टेबल स्पून

4. कलौंजी : 1/2 टेबल स्पून

5. नींबू : 1

6. हरी मिर्च : 6से 7

7. कटा हुआ हरा धनियां

8. सरसो तेल 

9. नमक स्वादानुसार

लिट्टी बनाने की विधि : 

*सबसे पहले आटा में आधा चम्मच नमक डाल कर आटा को पानी डालकर गूथ लें, आटा न तो ज्यादा नरम हो और न ज्यादा सख्त हो।

*अब एक बाउल में सत्तू निकाल लें और उसमें अजवाइन, कलौंजी, कटा हुआ हरा धनियां, कटी हुई हरी मिर्च, चार टेबल सरसो तेल, स्वादानुसार नमक, और एक नींबू को काटकर उसका रस निकाल कर डाल दें।

*अब सत्तू में सभी मसालों को अच्छे से मिक्स करें और आटे की लोई काट कर उसे चकला बेलन पर पूरी की तरह बेल लें और उस पूरी में सत्तू का मिश्रण डाल कर उसे हाथों से दबा कर भर लें और चकला बेलन पर रख कर धीरे धीरे बेल लें जिससे कि मिश्रण बाहर नहीं निकले।

*अब गैस पर एक तबा गरम करें और उस पर लिट्टी को उलट पलट कर सेक लें और फिर एक चम्मच सरसो तेल डालकर लाल लाल करके सेक कर प्लेट में निकाल लें।

*अगर आप लिट्टी में तेल डालना नहीं चाहते हों तो लिट्टी को तबे पर उलट पलट कर सेक लें और एक प्लेट में निकाल लें और घी लगा कर गरमा गरम लिट्टी को सर्व करें।

*लिट्टी को दो तरह से बना सकते हैं । अगर आप लिट्टी को तेल में पूरी के तरह छान कर बनाना चाहते हैं या फिर कोयले पर सेक कर बनाना चाहते हैं तो उसके लिए दूसरी विधि से बना सकते हैं।

*आटे की लोई को हाथ से गोल करें और फिर हाथों से ही लोई को पेड़े की तरह बना लें और जितना सत्तू का मिश्रण उस पेड़े में आ पाए उसे डाल कर हाथों से दबा दबा कर चारों तरफ से पेड़े को बंद कर दें और फिर हाथों से ही मोटे मोटे पूरी की तरह बना कर सारे लिट्टी को तैयार कर लें।

*अब गैस पर एक पूरी तलने वाली कड़ाही रखें और उसमें तेल डालकर गरम करें और जैसे ही तेल गरम हो जाए तो उसमें दो तीन लिट्टी एक साथ डाल कर मीडियम आंच पर उलट पलट कर लिट्टी को लाल करके सेक लें।

*अगर आपको कोयले पर लिट्टी सेकना हो तो कोयले का चूल्हा जला लें और उस पर एक जाल रख कर एक साथ तीन चार लिट्टी को डाल कर उलट पलट कर अच्छे से सेक लें जिससे कि लिट्टी कच्चा नहीं रहे । चूल्हे पर सेके हुए लिट्टी को चाहे तो आप ऐसे ही खाएं या तो घी लगा कर भी खा सकते हैं।

*मैंने लिट्टी बनाने के दो तीन तरीके बताए आपको जो भी तरीका पसंद आए आप उस तरीके से लिट्टी बनाकर खा सकते हैं।

*लिट्टी के साथ चोखा और अचार बहुत ही टेस्टी लगता है।

चोखा बनाने की विधि: 

*आलू को उबाल कर छील लें और उसे हाथों से या मैसर से अच्छी तरह मैस कर लें।

*अब गैस पर एक तड़का पैन गरम करें और उसमें चार चम्मच के कर करीब सरसो तेल डालकर एक चम्मच जीरा और चार सूखी मिर्च (लाल मिर्च) डाल कर थोड़ा तड़कने दें और फिर गैस को बंद कर दें।

*अब इस जीरा और लाल मिर्च के तड़के को जो हमने आलू मैस करके रखा था उसमें डाल दें और स्वादानुसार नमक डाल कर सभी को अच्छे से मिक्स करें। बस चोखा बनकर तैयार है।

 *Materials used to make Litti:

 1. Wheat Flour :250 grams

 2. Sattu : 200 grams

 4. Kalonji : 1/2 tbsp

 5. Lemon : 1

 6. Green Chillies: 6 to 7

 Method of making Litti:

 * First of all, after adding half a teaspoon of salt to the dough, knead the dough by adding water, the dough should neither be too soft nor too hard.

 * Now take out the sattu in a bowl and put celery, fennel, chopped green coriander, chopped green chilies, four tables of mustard oil, salt according to taste, and cut a lemon and extract its juice.

 * Now mix all the spices in the sattu well and after cutting the dough, roll it completely on the chakla rolling pin and put the mixture of sattu in that puri and fill it by pressing it with the hands and keep it on the chakla rolling pin slowly. Roll so that the mixture does not come out.

 * Now heat a pan on the gas and roast the litti on it by turning it upside down and then after adding a spoonful of mustard oil, roast it red and take it out in a plate.

 * If you do not want to add oil to the litti, then roast the litti in reverse and take it out in a plate and serve the litti hot after applying ghee.

 * Litti can be made in two ways. If you want to make litti by filtering it completely in oil or if you want to make it by baking it on coal, then you can make it by another method.

 * Round the dough with your hands and then make the dough like a peda with your hands and put as much sattu mixture as possible in that peda and press it with your hands and close the peda from all sides and then hands From there, prepare all the litti by making it like a coarse poori.

 * Now put a full frying pan on the gas and heat it by adding oil and as soon as the oil becomes hot, put two or three littis together in it and turn it upside down on medium flame and roast the litti by turning it red.

 * * If you want to bake litti on coal, then burn the coal stove and put a net on it and put three or four litti together and bake it by turning it upside down so that the litti does not remain raw. If you want to eat the baked litti on the stove, then you can eat it like this or you can eat it by applying ghee.

 * I told two or three ways to make litti, whatever method you like, you can eat it by making litti in that way.

 * Chokha and pickle with litti looks very tasty.

 Method for making sharpener:

 Boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them well with hands or with a masher.

 * Now heat a tempering pan on the gas and after adding four spoons of mustard oil, add one spoon cumin and four dry chilies (red chilies), let it sizzle a little and then turn off the gas.

 * Now put the tempering of this cumin and red chili in the potato mash that we had kept and add salt according to taste and mix it all well. Just the chokha is ready.

मेथी आलू की सब्जी

*मेथी आलू की सब्जी में लगने वाली सामग्री :

1. मेथी : 1 गड्डी

2. आलू : 1/2 kg

3. बेसन : 1कटोरी

4. धनियां पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

5. जीरा पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

6. हल्दी पाउडर : 1टेबल स्पून

7. लाल मिर्च पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

8. काली मिर्च पाउडर : 1/2 टेबल स्पून

9. गरम मसाला पाउडर : 1/2 टेबल स्पून

10. हींग  चुटकी भर

11. घी : टेबल स्पून

12.जीरा :1 टेबल स्पून

13. नमक स्वादानुसार

14. सरसो तेल

*मेथी आलू की सब्जी बनाने की विधि :

*मेथी को तोड़कर दो तीन बार पानी से साफ करके एक प्लेट में निकाल लें।

*आलू को उबालकर छील लें और चार चार टुकड़ों में काट लें।

*अब गैस पर एक पैन गरम करें और उसमें तेल डालकर गरम करें।

*एक बाउल में बेसन , हल्का नमक,चुटकी भर हल्दी और पानी डाल कर उसका गाढ़ा घोल तैयार कर लें।

*अब गैस पर जो तेल गरम किया था उसमें मेथी को बेसन में लपेटकर तेल में डाल कर उसका लाल करके पकौड़ा तल लें।

*सारे मेथी का पकौड़ा तल कर निकाल लें और फिर पैन में चार टेबल स्पून तेल डाल कर जीरा डाल दें।

*जैसे ही जीरा तड़कने लगे तो उसमें हींग डाल दें और कटा हुआ आलू डाल दें।

*आलू डाल कर नमक, हल्दी पाउडर, धनियां पाउडर, जीरा पाउडर, काली मिर्च पाउडर और लाल मिर्च पाउडर डालकर सभी को अच्छे से मिक्स करें।

*धीमी आंच पर आलू और सभी मसालों को लगभग दस मिनट तक भूनें।

* अब करीब चार से पांच ग्लास पानी डाल दें और दस मिनट सब्जी को उबलने दें।

*दस मिनट बाद ग्रेवी में मेथी के पकौड़े , गरम मसाला और घी डाल कर एक मिनट और पका लें और फिर गैस को बंद कर दें।

* मेथी आलू की ये सब्जी रोटी या चावल किसी के साथ भी बहुत टेस्टी लगता है।

 

 

 Ingredients for Fenugreek Potato Curry:

 1. Fenugreek : 1 pack

 2. Potato : 1/2 kg

 3. Besan : 1 bowl

 4. Coriander Powder: 2 tbsp

 5. Cumin Powder: 2 tbsp

 6. Turmeric Powder: 1 tbsp

 7. Red chili powder: 2 tbsp

 8. Black pepper powder : 1/2 tbsp

 9. Garam Masala Powder : 1/2 tbsp

 10. Asafoetida a pinch

 11. Ghee : Tablespoon

 12. Cumin : 1 tbsp

 13. Salt to taste

 14. Mustard oil

 Method of making Fenugreek Potato Curry:

 * After breaking the fenugreek, clean it with water two or three times and take it out in a plate.

 Boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into four pieces.

 * Now heat a pan on the gas and put oil in it and heat it.

 * Prepare a thick batter by adding gram flour, light salt, a pinch of turmeric and water in a bowl.

 * Now in the oil which was heated on the gas, wrap the fenugreek in gram flour and put it in the oil and fry the pakoras after turning it red.

 * Take out all the fenugreek dumplings after frying and then put four tablespoons of oil in the pan and add cumin seeds.

 * As soon as the cumin starts to splutter, add asafoetida to it and add chopped potatoes.

 * Add potatoes, add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and red chili powder and mix everything well.

 *Fry the potatoes and all the spices on low flame for about ten minutes.

 * Now add about four to five glasses of water and let the vegetable boil for ten minutes.

 After ten minutes, add fenugreek dumplings, garam masala and ghee to the gravy and cook it for one more minute and then turn off the gas.

 * This vegetable of fenugreek potato with roti or rice looks very tasty with anyone.

सब्जी वाली खिचड़ी बनाने की विधि

सब्जी वाली खिचड़ी बनाने में लगने वाली सामग्री :

1. कच्चा चावल : 2 ग्लास

2. अरहर दाल : 2 ग्लास

3. आलू : 5

4. फूल गोभी : 1

5. हरा मटर : 1 कटोरी 

6.बैगन : 1

7. टमाटर : 2

8. देशी घी : 6 टेबल स्पून

9. सरसो तेल : 2 टेबल स्पून

10. साबुत जीरा : 1 टेबल स्पून

11. सूखी लाल मिर्च : 4

12. तेज पत्ता : 4

13. हल्दी पाउडर : 1 टेबल स्पून

14. लाल मिर्च पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

15. धनियां पाउडर : 1 टेबल स्पून

16. जीरा पाउडर : 1 टेबल स्पून

17. काली मिर्च पाउडर 1/2 टेबल स्पून

18. गरम मसाला पाउडर : 1/2 टेबल स्पून

19. नमक स्वादानुसार

सब्जी वाली खिचड़ी बनाने में लगने वाली सामग्री :

* सबसे पहले आलू को छीलकर थोड़े बड़े बड़े टुकड़ों में काट लें, फूल गोभी और बैगन को भी काट कर सभी सब्जियों को अच्छे से धो लें।

*अब गैस पर एक प्रेशर कुकर गरम करें और जैसे ही कुकर गरम हो जाए तो उसमें घी डाल दें।

* घी के हल्का गरम होते ही चावल और दाल को धो कर डाल दें।

*गैस को बिल्कुल धीमी आंच पर रखें और दाल चावल को हल्का सुनहरा होने तक अच्छी तरह भूनें।

*जब दाल और चावल अच्छी तरह भुन जाए तो उसमें  7 ग्लास के करीब पानी डालकर स्वादानुसार नमक और हल्दी डाल कर कुकर का ढक्कन बंद कर दें।

*अब कुकर में चार से पांच सीटी आने दें और तब तक गैस पर दूसरी तरफ एक पैन गरम करें।

*जैसे ही पैन गरम हो जाए तो उसमें घी डाल कर कटी हुई सब्जियों को डाल दें, मटर और टमाटर को भी काट कर डाल दें।

*अब सब्जियों में हल्का नमक, धनियां पाउडर, जीरा पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर, लाल मिर्च पाउडर और काली मिर्च पाउडर डालकर तेज आंच पर ही सब्जियों के पानी सूखने तक पका लें।

* प्रेशर कुकर में पांच सीटी लगने के बाद कुकर के ढक्कन को खोल कर फ्राई की हुई सब्जियों को डाल कर फिर से ढक्कन को बंद करके तेज आंच पर एक सीटी और लगा लें।

*एक सीटी लगने के बाद कुकर का ढक्कन खोल कर खिचड़ी में गरम मसाला पाउडर डाल कर एक मिनट और पका लें।

* अब गरमा गरम खिचड़ी को दही और पापड़ के साथ सर्व करें। सब्जी वाली खिचड़ी खाने में बहुत ही टेस्टी लगता है।

Ingredients to make Vegetable Khichdi:

 1. Raw Rice : 2 glasses

 2. Arhar Dal : 2 glasses

 3. Potato : 5

 4. Cauliflower : 1

 5. Green peas : 1 bowl

 6. Brinjal : 1

 7. Tomato : 2

 8. Desi Ghee: 6 tbsp

 9. Mustard oil: 2 tbsp

 10. Whole cumin seeds: 1 tbsp

 11. Dry Red Chillies : 4

 12. Bay leaves : 4

 13. Turmeric Powder: 1 tbsp

 14. Red chili powder: 2 tbsp

 15. Coriander Powder: 1 tbsp

 16. Cumin Powder: 1 tbsp

 17. Black pepper powder 1/2 tbsp

 18. Garam Masala Powder : 1/2 tbsp

 19. Salt to taste

 Ingredients to make Vegetable Khichdi:

 * First of all, peel the potatoes and cut them into big pieces, cut the cauliflower and brinjal and wash all the vegetables well.

 * Now heat a pressure cooker on the gas and as soon as the cooker becomes hot, add ghee to it.

 * Wash and put rice and lentils as soon as the ghee becomes slightly hot.

 Keep the gas on very low flame and fry the dal rice well till it becomes light golden.

 * When the lentils and rice are fried well, then add about 7 glasses of water to it, add salt and turmeric as per taste and close the lid of the cooker.

 * Now let the cooker come for four to five whistles and till then heat a pan on the other side on the gas.

 * As soon as the pan becomes hot, put ghee in it and put the chopped vegetables, cut peas and tomatoes and put them in it.

 * Now add light salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and black pepper powder to the vegetables and cook them on high flame till the water dries up.

 * After five whistles in the pressure cooker, open the lid of the cooker and put the fried vegetables and again close the lid and apply one more whistle on high flame.

 After one whistle, open the lid of the cooker and add garam masala powder to the khichdi and cook it for one more minute.

 * Now serve hot khichdi with curd and papad.  It is very tasty to eat vegetable khichdi.

राम से बड़ा राम का नाम

/कहा जाता है कि भगवान से भी ज्यादा महिमा उनके नाम की है। इस बात की पुष्टि गीता में भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने स्वयं किया है, उन्होंने कहा कि मेरा जो भी भक्त श्रद्धा पूर्वक मेरे नाम का सुमिरन करेगा उसका मैं स्वयं भी कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता हूं।

*इसलिए कहा गया है कि राम से बड़ा राम का नाम। आईए इसको शास्त्रों में वर्णित एक सच्ची कहानी से समझते हैं।

* एक बार सुमेरू पर्वत पर सभी संतों की सभा का आयोजन हुआ। केवर्ध देश के राजा सुकंद भी उसी सभा में जा रहे थे, रास्ते में उन्हें नारद जी मिले।

* राजा ने नारद जी को प्रणाम किया नारद मुनि ने उन्हें आशिर्वाद दिया और उनसे पूछा कि आप कहां जा रहे हैं।

*उसपर राजा ने नारद मुनि से कहा कि सुमेरू पर्वत पर सभी संतों की सभा बुलाई गई है तो मैं भी वहीं जा रहा हूं। 

*नारद जी ने राजा से कहा कि आप विश्वामित्र जी को छोड़कर बांकी सभी संतों को प्रणाम कीजिएगा। 

*राजा ने नारद मुनि से पूछा कि लेकिन मैं विश्वामित्र जी को प्रणाम क्यों नहीं करूंगा कृपया मुझे आप इसका कारण बताएं।

*इसपर नारद जी ने राजा से कहा क्योंकि विश्वामित्र भी आप ही की तरह पहले राजा थे अर्थात् वो संत नहीं हुए तो उन्हें प्रणाम करने की बिल्कुल भी आवश्यकता नहीं है। तब राजा ने कहा ठीक है जैसी आपकी आज्ञा।

*राजा जब संतों की सभा में पहुंचे तो उन्होंने सभी संतों को प्रणाम किया परंतु विश्वामित्र को प्रणाम नहीं किया।

राजा के इस व्यवहार से विश्वामित्र जी को सभा में अपमानित होना पड़ा।

*विश्वामित्र जी अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर प्रभु श्री राम के पास पहुंचे और उन्होंने श्री राम से कहा कि आज उसने मुझे भरी सभा में अपमानित किया।

* श्री राम ने पूछा कि गुरुदेव आप मुझे ये बताईए कि किसने आपका अपमान किया है ,मैं आपकी सौगंध खाकर कहता हूं कि जिसने भी आपका अपमान किया है मैं उसका शीश काट कर आपके चरणों में डाल दूंगा।

*उधर राजा को जब इस बात का पता चला तो वह बहुत घबरा गया कि अब तो श्री राम मेरा वध किए बिना नहीं मानेंगे क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने गुरु की सौगंध ले ली है।

*अब डर के मारे नारद मुनि को पुकारने लगा, बहुत पुकारने के बाद नारद जी प्रकट हुए तो राजा ने कहा कि आपके कहे अनुसार मैंने विश्वामित्र जी को प्रणाम नहीं किया और अब मेरी जान को खतरा है।

*प्रभु श्री राम ने मुझे मारने के लिए अपने गुरु की सौगंध ले ली है अब आप मेरी रक्षा कीजिए। तब नारद जी ने राजा से कहा कि आप शीघ्र ही माता अंजनी के पास जाकर उनसे मदद की गुहार करिए।

*राजा भागा भागा माता अंजनी के पास जा कर उनके चरणों में गिर पड़ा और कहने लगा माता मेरी रक्षा करो विश्वामित्र जी मुझे मार डालेंगे।

*तब माता अंजनी ने राजा से कहा कि आप घबराएं नहीं मेरा पुत्र हनुमान आपकी रक्षा करेगा , आपको कुछ नहीं होगा ये मेरा वचन है।

*माता अंजनी ने अपने पुत्र हनुमान जी को बुलाकर कहा कि पुत्र हनुमान मैंने राजा को वचन दिया है कि आप इनके प्राणों की रक्षा करेंगे तो आप मेरे इस वचन को पूरा करें।

*तब हनुमान जी ने राजा से कहा कि मैं अपने प्रभु श्री राम की सौगंध खाकर कहता हूं कि मैं आपके प्राणों की रक्षा करूंगा चाहे इसके लिए मुझे युद्ध क्यों न करनी पड़े।

*हनुमान जी ने राजा से पूछा कि अब आप मुझे ये बताईए कि आपको कौन मारना चाहता है। राजा ने कहा कि प्रभु श्री राम ने अपने गुरु की सौगंध ली है कि वो मेरा वध करेंगे।

*राजा से ऐसा सुनते ही हनुमान जी ने कहा कि आपने तो कहा था कि विश्वामित्र आपको मारना चाहते हैं, तो राजा ने कहा कि विश्वामित्र तो मुझे मरवाना चाहते हैं प्रभु श्री राम के हाथों।

*हनुमान जी प्रभु श्री राम के पास पहुंचे तो उन्होंने देखा कि वो कहीं जा रहे हैं तो उन्होंने श्री राम से पूछा कि प्रभु आप कहां जा रहे हैं , इसपर श्री राम ने कहा कि मैं राजा सुकंद का वध करने जा रहा हूं।

*हनुमान जी राजा को लेकर सुमेरू पर्वत पर जा कर बैठ गए और उन्होंने राजा से कहा कि आप घबराएं नहीं इस समय आप केवल प्रभु के नाम का सुमिरन करें।

*राजा बहुत घबराया हुआ था तो उससे श्री राम नाम का सुमिरन नहीं हो पा रहा था। अब हनुमान जी ने सोचा कि मैं तो अपने प्रभु श्री राम की सौगंध ले चुका हूं कि मैं राजा के प्राणों की रक्षा करूंगा।

*इतने में राजा को दूंढते हुए श्री राम सुमेरू पर्वत पर आ पहुंचे, श्री राम को आते हुए देख हनुमान जी ने राजा को श्री राम नाम के मंत्रों के घेरे में बैठा दिया।

*श्री राम ने हनुमान जी से कहा कि तुम सामने से हट जाओ क्योंकि मैंने अपने गुरु की सौगंध ली है राजा को मारने के लिए।

*हनुमान जी ने कहा कि मैंने भी राजा के प्राणों की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्रभु श्री राम के चरणों की सौगंध ली है तो मैं नहीं हट सकता हूं।

*श्री राम को क्रोध आ गया और राजा पर वाण चलाना शुरू किया परंतु हनुमान जी ने तो राजा को श्री राम नाम के मंत्रों के घेरे में बैठाया हुआ था तो प्रभु श्री राम में भी इतनी ताकत नहीं थी कि उनके चलाए हुए वाण राम नाम के मंत्रों को भेदकर राजा को मार सके।

*श्री राम बार बार राजा पर वाण चलाते परंतु हर बार वाण लौटकर उनके कमान में आ जाता। तभी लक्ष्मण जी वहां आ पहुंचे और उन्हें बार बार श्री राम के धनुष को वापस लौटता देखकर हनुमान जी पर बहुत क्रोध आया।

*लक्ष्मण जी को लगा कि हनुमान जी प्रभु श्री राम को परेशान कर रहे हैं और उन्होंने हनुमान जी पर वाण चला दिया।

*लेकिन ये क्या लक्ष्मण जी ने वाण तो हनुमान जी पर चलाया और श्री राम मुर्छित होकर गिर गए। ऐसा देखकर लक्ष्मण कुछ समझ नहीं पा रहे थे कि तभी अचानक उन्होंने हनुमान जी के छाती से खून निकलते हुए देखा।

*लक्ष्मण जी को हनुमान जी की छाती में माता सीता और प्रभु श्री राम के दर्शन हुए। तभी श्री राम को थोड़ा होश आया तो प्रभु श्री राम अपनी आंखें बंद करके बार बार हनुमान जी की रक्त निकलती हुई छाती पर हाथ रख रहे थे।

*प्रभु श्री राम एक बार उनकी छाती पर हाथ रखते तो एक बार उनके सिर पर हाथ रखते, बार बार वो ऐसा कर रहे थे और उन्होंने अपनी आंखें बंद रखी थी।

*हनुमान जी ने राजा को झट से अपने गोद में बैठा लिया। प्रभु श्री राम ने जैसे ही अपना हाथ उठाकर हनुमान जी के सिर पर रखना चाहा उनका हाथ राजा के सिर पर चला गया और वो राजा के सिर पर अपना हाथ फेरने लगे।

*अब हनुमान जी ने कहा प्रभु अब तो आपने राजा के सिर पर अपना हाथ रख दिया तो अब आप इसे कैसे मार सकते हैं। श्री राम ने अपनी आंखें खोली और निस्तब्ध रह गए।

*तभी अचानक विश्वामित्र जी श्री राम की ओर ही चले आ रहे थे,तो हनुमान जी ने राजा से कहा कि आप अब इन्हें प्रणाम करके इनसे क्षमा मांग लीजिए।

*राजा दौर कर विश्वामित्र जी के चरणों में गिर कर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और उनसे अपनी गलती के लिए क्षमा मांगी।

*तब विश्वामित्र जी ने राजा को क्षमा कर दिया और श्री राम से भी राजा को क्षमा कर देने को कहा। श्री राम ने भी राजा को क्षमा कर दिया और राजा से पूछा कि आपने ऐसा अपराध क्यों किया।

*तब राजा ने कहा कि मुझे नारद जी ने कहा था कि आप विश्वामित्र जी को प्रणाम मत करना। ऐसा सुनते ही श्री राम ने नारद मुनि को बुलाकर उनसे पूछा कि आपने राजा से विश्वामित्र जी को प्रणाम करने से मना क्यों किया था।

*तब नारद जी ने कहा कि मैं ये लीला करके ये साबित करना चाहता था कि राम से भी बड़ा राम का नाम है। मैं लोगों तक यह संदेश पहुंचाना चाहता था कि आपसे भी बड़ी महिमा आपके नाम की है जिसे आप स्वयं भी नहीं भेद सकते हैं।

It is said that his name has more power than God.  This fact has been confirmed by Lord Krishna himself in the Gita, he said that I myself cannot harm any devotee who worships my name with reverence.

 That's why it has been said that the name of Ram is bigger than Ram.  Let us understand this from a true story narrated in the scriptures.

 * Once a meeting of all the saints was organized on Mount Sumeru.  King Sukand of Kevardha country was also going to the same meeting, on the way he met Narad ji.

 * The king bowed to Narad ji, Narad Muni blessed him and asked him where are you going.

 On that, the king told Narad Muni that if a meeting of all the saints has been called on Sumeru mountain, then I am also going there.

 * Narad ji told the king that you will bow down to all the saints except Vishwamitra ji.

 * The king asked Narada Muni that but why I will not bow down to Vishwamitra ji, please tell me the reason for this.

 On this, Narad ji said to the king because Vishwamitra was the first king like you, that is, if he did not become a saint, then there is no need to bow down to him at all.  Then the king said, okay as you ordered.

 When the king reached the meeting of saints, he saluted all the saints but did not bow down to Vishwamitra.

 Vishwamitra ji had to be humiliated in the assembly due to this behavior of the king.

 Vishwamitra ji reached out to Lord Shri Ram very angry and he told Shri Ram that today he humiliated me in a full meeting.

 * Shri Ram asked that Gurudev, you should tell me who has insulted you, I swear by you and say that whoever has insulted you, I will cut off his head and put him at your feet.

 On the other hand, when the king came to know about this, he was very nervous that now Shri Ram will not obey without killing me because he has taken the oath of his guru.

 Now out of fear, Narad started calling Muni, after many calls, Narad ji appeared, then the king said that according to you, I did not bow down to Vishwamitra ji and now my life is in danger.

 Lord Shri Ram has taken the oath of his Guru to kill me, now you protect me.  Then Narad ji told the king that you should go to Mother Anjani soon and request her help.

 * The king ran away after going to mother Anjani and fell at her feet and started saying mother, protect me Vishwamitra ji will kill me.

 Then Mother Anjani told the king that you do not panic, my son Hanuman will protect you, nothing will happen to you, this is my word.

 Mother Anjani called her son Hanuman ji and said that son Hanuman, I have given a promise to the king that if you will protect his life, then you should fulfill this promise of mine.

 Then Hanuman ji told the king that by taking the oath of my lord Shri Ram, I say that I will protect your life even if I have to fight for it.

 * Hanuman ji asked the king that now you tell me who wants to kill you.  The king said that Lord Shri Ram has taken the oath of his Guru that he will kill me.

 On hearing this from the king, Hanuman ji said that you had said that Vishwamitra wanted to kill you, then the king said that Vishwamitra wants to get me killed at the hands of Lord Shri Ram.

 When Hanuman ji reached Lord Shri Ram, he saw that he was going somewhere, then he asked Shri Ram, where are you going Lord, to which Shri Ram said that I am going to kill King Sukand.

 Hanuman ji took the king and sat down on the Sumeru mountain and he told the king that you should not panic, at this time you should only chant the name of the Lord.

 * The king was very nervous, so the name of Shri Ram was not being able to be heard from him.  Now Hanuman ji thought that I have taken the oath of my Lord Shri Ram that I will save the life of the king.

 In this way, looking for the king, Shri Ram reached Sumeru mountain, seeing Shri Ram coming, Hanuman ji made the king sit in the circle of chants named Shri Ram.

 Shri Ram told Hanuman ji that you get away from the front because I have taken the oath of my guru to kill the king.

 Hanuman ji said that I too have taken the oath of the feet of my Lord Shri Ram to protect the life of the king, so I cannot move away.

 Shri Ram got angry and started playing arrows on the king, but Hanuman ji had made the king sit in the circle of chants named Shri Ram, then even Lord Shri Ram did not have so much power that his arrows were played by the name of Ram.  He could kill the king by breaking the mantras.

 Shri Ram used to shoot arrows at the king again and again, but every time the arrow would return and come under his command.  Then Lakshman ji came there and seeing him returning the bow of Shri Ram again and again, Hanuman ji got very angry.

 * Lakshman ji felt that Hanuman ji was troubling Lord Shri Ram and he shot at Hanuman ji.

 But what did Lakshman ji shoot at Hanuman ji and Shri Ram fell unconscious.  Seeing this, Lakshman could not understand anything when suddenly he saw blood coming out of Hanuman ji's chest.

 * Laxman ji had a vision of Mother Sita and Lord Shri Ram in Hanuman ji's chest.  When Shri Ram came to his senses a little, Lord Shri Ram was repeatedly placing his hand on the chest of Hanuman ji, closing his eyes.

 Lord Shri Ram once placed his hand on his chest and once placed his hand on his head, he was doing this again and again and he kept his eyes closed.

 * Hanuman ji hastily made the king sit in his lap.  As soon as Lord Shri Ram raised his hand and wanted to place it on the head of Hanuman ji, his hand went on the king's head and he started moving his hand on the king's head.

 Now Hanuman ji said, Lord, now you have put your hand on the king's head, so now how can you kill him.  Shri Ram opened his eyes and was stunned.

 Then suddenly Vishwamitra ji was walking towards Shri Ram, so Hanuman ji told the king that you should now bow down to him and ask for forgiveness from him.

 * The king went round and bowed down at the feet of Vishwamitra ji and apologized to him for his mistake.

 Then Vishwamitra ji forgave the king and asked Shri Ram to forgive the king.  Shri Ram also forgave the king and asked the king why did you commit such a crime.

 Then the king said that Narad ji told me that you should not bow down to Vishwamitra ji.  On hearing this, Shri Ram called Narad Muni and asked him why you had forbade the king to bow down to Vishwamitra.

 Then Narad ji said that by doing this Leela I wanted to prove that Ram's name is bigger than Ram.  I wanted to convey this message to the people that greater glory than you is in your name, which even you yourself cannot penetrate.
