* गुलाब जामुन बनाने में लगने वाली सामग्री : 

1. मिल्क पाउडर : 1 kg

2. चीनी : 1 kg

3. रिफाइंड तेल : 1/2kg

4. इलायची पाउडर : 2 टेबल स्पून

5. गुलाब जल : 2 टेबल स्पून

वृंदावन की फाग लीला (श्रीमद भागवद् से लिया गया प्रसंग)

* स्वामी जी जो कि ललिता सखी के अवतार हैं, एक समय की बात है स्वामी जी यमुना तट पर बैठे हुए हैं और बांके बिहारी जी और राधा रानी के चिंतन में लीन हैं।

* पाकिस्तान में एक शहर है लाहौर वहां पर बांके बिहारी जी का एक बहुत बड़ा भक्त रहता था जिसका नाम विज्ञानी था।

* विज्ञानी  ने लाहौर में सुना की वृंदावन में कोई ऐसे संत हैं जिन्होंने बांके बिहारी जी को साक्षात प्रकट किया है।

*बांके बिहारी जी का कोई विग्रह या मूर्ती नहीं है वो साक्षात प्रकट हुए हैं।

* बिहारी जी का वो भक्त विज्ञानी ने जब ये बात सुनी की बिहारी जी का कोई विग्रह नहीं है वो साक्षात प्रकट हुए हैं तो वो लाहौर से पैदल चला और कई दिन तक चलने के बाद वो वृंदावन पहुंचा।

* पहले बांके बिहारी जी की सेवा निधिवन में ही होती थी। निधिवन वृंदावन का वो पवित्र वन है जहां पर बांके बिहारी जी साक्षात प्रकट हुए थे।

*निधि वन में आज भी जो लताएं हैं वो रात को गोपी बनकर कृष्ण के साथ नृत्य करती हैं।

*बांके बिहारी जी के मंदिर का निर्माण बाद में हुआ। पहले तो बिहारी जी निधि वन में ही विराजते थे।एक बार स्वामी जी ने बिहारी जी से प्रार्थना कि की अब आप तो यहां बैठ गए हो और यहां मेला लगने लगा है। आपके मेले के चक्कर में हमारा तो भजन भी नहीं हो पाता है।

* स्वामी जी के अनुनय विनय से बाद में बांके बिहारी जी का मंदिर अलग बना जहां वर्तमान में बांके बिहारी जी विराजमान हैं।

* वो बिहारी जी का भक्त विज्ञानी निधिवन पहुंचा । उसने सबसे पहले निधिवन पहुंचकर बिहारी जी का दर्शन किया।

* बिहारी जी का दर्शन करने के बाद विज्ञानी ने वहां पर मौजूद संतों से पूछा कि स्वामी जी कहां हैं तो उन्होंने बताया कि स्वामी जी यमुना तट पर बैठे हैं।

* संतों ने विज्ञानी से कहा कि यहां से थोड़ी दूर पर यमुना है आप वहां जाकर स्वामी जी का दर्शन करिए।

* विज्ञानी यमुना के किनारे पहुंचा तो उसने देखा कि स्वामी जी अपनी भाव मुद्रा में बैठे हैं और बांके बिहारी जी और राधा रानी जी की विशेष चिंतन में लीन हैं।

*उस समय स्वामी जी ठाकुर जी की फाग लीला का चिंतन कर रहे थे।

*स्वामी जी अपनी भाव में अपनी चिंतन में बांके बिहारी जी को और राधा रानी जी को होली खेला रहे हैं।

*स्वामी जी अपने फाग लीला का चिंतन कर रहे हैं और वो व्यक्ति विज्ञानी उनके चरणों में आ गया।

*उस विज्ञानी के अंदर बिहारी जी के प्रति इतना भाव था कि वो जब लाहौर से चला तो उसने अपने साथ बिहारी जी के लिए एक शीशी में बड़ा प्यारा इत्र लेकर आया।

*वो खस का इत्र था जो विज्ञानी ठाकुर जी के लिए लाया था और उस समय उस इत्र की कीमत लाख रुपए थी।

* उसने बड़े भाव से उस इत्र को लेकर स्वामी जी को दिया और उनसे कहा कि आप मुझपर कृपा करें। मैं बड़ी दूर से आपके लिए ये सेवा लेकर आया हूं , आप इस इत्र को बिहारी जी तक पहुंचा दें।

*स्वामी जी ने उस इत्र को अपने हाथ में लिया, लेकिन उस समय स्वामीजी फाग लीला के चिंतन में लीन हैं और उनके हाथ में वो लाख रुपए का इत्र है।

* अपने भाव दशा में स्वामी जी देखते हैं कि श्यामा जी और श्याम होली खेल रहे हैं और उसी समय राधा जी की पिचकारी में रंग खत्म हो गया और बिहारी जी की पिचकारी में रंग भरा हुआ है और वो किशोरी जी पर रंग डाले जा रहे हैं।

* अब क्योंकि राधा रानी के पिचकारी का रंग खत्म हो गया और स्वामी जी तो राधा रानी के ही अवतार हैं, स्वामी जी ने ये नहीं देखा कि हमारी किशोरी जी हार रही हैं।

*अब स्वामी जी ने उसी समय उनके हाथ में जो इत्र था उसका ढक्कन खोल कर उस इत्र के शीशी को उल्टा कर दिया।

*अब जो भक्त वहां स्वामी जी को देख रहे थे उनकी दृष्टी में तो उनको ये दिखाई दे रहा था कि शीशी का सारा इत्र स्वामी जी ने यमुना जी की रेत में डाल दिया।

* परंतु भाव दशा में वो इत्र रेत में नहीं गिरा था। स्वामी जी राधा रानी के पिचकारी में पूरा इत्र डाल दिया और राधा रानी ने पूरे इत्र को लेकर बांके बिहारी जी के उपर डाल दिया ।

* ये देखकर उस व्यक्ति विज्ञानी का बिल्कुल मन टूट गया। उसने कहा कि मैंने इनका इतना नाम सुना था पर ये कैसे संत हैं ।

* विज्ञानी ने कहा कि मेरा इतना महंगा इत्र इन्होंने उनकी कीमत नहीं समझी और उसे रेत में डाल दिया।

* उसका मन खराब हो गया क्योंकि उसको तो पता नहीं कि लीला क्या हुई।

* विज्ञानी को उदास देखकर स्वामी जी ने कहा कि आप थोड़े उदास दिख रहे हैं। क्या आपने हमारे बिहारी जी का दर्शन किया ?

* विज्ञानी ने स्वामी जी से कहा कि हां मैं बिहारी जी का दर्शन करके ही यहां आया हूं।

* स्वामी जी ने कहा नहीं आपने दर्शन नहीं किया है, आप ऐसा करो जाने से पहले एक बार फिर से बिहारी जी का दर्शन करो तो आपको बहुत आनंद आयेगा।

* अब विज्ञानी स्वामी जी को प्रणाम करके यमुना तट से वापस निधिवन पहुंचा।

* निधिवन में जैसे ही वो प्रवेश करता है तो उसे उसी इत्र की महक आने लगी, और जब वो अंदर बांके बिहारी जी के पास पहुंचता है तो देखता है कि पूरे बांके बिहारी जी उसके दिए हुए इत्र में स्नान करके खड़े हो गए।

Swami ji, the incarnation of Lalitha Sakhi, is a matter of time Swami ji is sitting on the banks of Yamuna and is absorbed in the thoughts of Banke Bihari ji and Radha Rani.

 * There is a city in Pakistan, Lahore, there used to be a great devotee of Banke Bihari ji, whose name was a scientist.

 * The scientist heard in Lahore that there are some saints in Vrindavan who have revealed to Banke Bihari ji.

 * Banke Bihari ji does not have any Deity or idol.

 * When that devotee of Bihari ji heard that Bihari ji has no Deity, he appeared in an interview, then he walked on foot from Lahore and after walking for several days he reached Vrindavan.

 * Earlier Banke Bihari ji used to serve only in Nidhivan.  Nidhivan is the holy forest of Vrindavan where Banke Bihari Ji's interviews took place.

 * Even today the vines in Nidhi forest become gopis at night and dance with Krishna.

 * The temple of Banke Bihari Ji was built later.  At first, Bihari ji used to sit in Nidhi forest. Once Swami ji prayed to Bihari ji that now you have sat here and a fair has started here.  We cannot even have a bhajan in your fair affair.

 * Later, the temple of Banke Bihari became separate from the persuasion of Swami ji, where Banke Bihari ji is currently sitting.

 * He reached Nidivan, a devotee of Bihari ji.  He first saw Bihari ji by reaching Nidhivan.

 * After seeing Bihari ji, the scientist asked the saints present there, where is Swami ji, then he told that Swamiji is sitting on the banks of Yamuna.

 * The saints told the scientist that there is a Yamuna at a little distance from here, go there and see Swamiji.

 * When the scientist reached the bank of Yamuna, he saw that Swamiji is sitting in his mood and is absorbed in the special thinking of Banke Bihari Ji and Radha Rani Ji.

 * At that time Swami ji was contemplating Thakur ji's Phag Leela.

 Swami ji is playing Holi to Banke Bihari ji and Radha Rani ji in his thoughts.

 * Swami ji is contemplating his feet and Leela and that physicist has come at his feet.

 * Inside that scientist, there was so much feeling towards Bihari ji that when he left from Lahore, he brought with him a very cute perfume in a vial for Bihari ji.

 * That was the perfume of Khas which was brought for the scientist Thakur ji and at that time the cost of that perfume was lakhs of rupees.

 * He took this perfume with great gesture and gave it to Swamiji and asked him to please me.  I have brought this service for you from far and wide, you should bring this perfume to Bihari ji.

 * Swamiji took that perfume in his hand, but at that time Swamiji Phag is absorbed in the thought of Leela and he has a perfume of lakh rupees in his hand.

 * In his spirit, Swamiji sees that Shyama ji and Shyam are playing Holi and at the same time the color is finished in Radha ji's pichkari and Bihari ji's pichkari is full of color and they are being painted on Kishori ji  .

 * Now because Radha Rani's atomizer has lost its color and Swamiji is the incarnation of Radha Rani, Swamiji has not seen that our teenager is losing.

 * Now Swamiji opened the lid of the perfume he had in his hand at the same time and inverted the bottle of that perfume.

 * Now in the eyes of the devotees who were looking at Swamiji there, it was visible to them that Swamiji put all the perfume of the vial in the sand of Yamuna ji.

 * But in the state of emotion, that perfume did not fall into the sand.  Swamiji put the entire perfume in Radha Rani's atonement and Radha Rani took the entire perfume and put it on Banke Bihari ji.

 * Seeing this, that individual scientist was completely upset.  He said that I had heard his name so much but how he is a saint.

 * The scientist said that my so expensive perfume he did not understand their value and put it in the sand.

 * He got upset because he does not know what happened to Leela.

 * Swami ji, seeing the scientist sad, said that you are looking a little sad.  Did you visit our Bihari ji?

 * The scientist told Swamiji that yes I came here only after seeing Bihari ji.

 Swami ji said, "You have not seen darshan, before you do this, see Bihari ji once again, then you will be very happy."

 * Now the scientist bowed down to Swamiji and reached Nidivan back from the Yamuna coast.

 * As soon as he enters Nidhivan, he starts smelling the same perfume, and when he reaches inside Banke Bihari ji, he sees that the whole Banke Bihari ji got bathed in his given perfume.

शिवलिंग का प्राकट्य कैसे हुआ?

* हम सभी महादेव जी की पूजा शिव लिंग के रुप में करते हैं। आईए जानते हैं कि शिव लिंग का प्राकट्य कैसे हुआ?

*एक बार विष्णु भगवान आराम कर रहे थे और लक्ष्मी माता उनके चरण दबा रही थी। ब्रम्हा जी को कुछ कार्य था तो ब्रम्हा जी विष्णु भगवान के पास आते हैं।

भगवान श्री जगन्नाथ जी को खिचड़ी का भोग क्यों लगाया जाता है?

* ये घटना लगभग चार सौ साल पुरानी है। कर्मा बाई जो कि भगवान श्री कृष्ण की बहुत बड़ी भक्त भक्त थी । कर्मा बाई भगवान से पुत्र भाव से प्रेम करती थी।

             * कर्मा बाई महज़ तेरह साल की उम्र से प्रभु को नित प्रातः काल  अपने हाथों से खिचड़ी बनाकर बड़े ही प्रेम से प्रभु को खिचड़ी का भोग लगाती ।

             * कहते हैं जीवन के अंतिम दिनों में कर्मा बाई भगवान जगन्नाथ की नगरी चली गई और वहीं जाकर रहने लगी।

              * मां कर्मा बाई हर दिन सुबह उठकर सबसे पहले प्रभु के लिए खिचड़ी का भोग बनाती और भगवान स्वयं आकर बड़े ही प्रेम से खिचड़ी का भोग लगाते।

             * अब तो यह रोज़ का सिलसिला हो गया, भगवान जगन्नाथ जी के मंदिर में प्रभु के लिए छप्पन भोग बनाकर उनको भोग लगाया जाता है, लेकिन हर सुबह मंदिर के छप्पन भोग से पहले भगवान मां कर्मा बाई के हाथ से बने खिचड़ी का भोग लगाते फ़िर मंदिर के छप्पन भोग को पाते।

               * एक दिन कर्मा बाई के घर सुबह सुबह एक संत पहुंचे। संत ने कर्मा बाई को बिना स्नान किए खिचड़ी बनाता देखा तो संत को ये बात अच्छी नहीं लगी। उन्होंने कर्मा बाई को बुलाकर उन्हें पूजा पाठ करने की विधी विधान को समझाया और स्नान आदि करके ही भोग बनाने को कहा। संत ने कहा कि बिना स्नान किए भोग बनाने से भोग अपवित्र हो जाता है।

             * संत के बताए अनुसार दूसरे दिन सुबह उठकर कर्मा बाई स्नान आदि करने लगी स्नान करके निकली ही थी कि प्रभु मां के हाथों से बने खिचड़ी का भोग पाने चले आए। खिचड़ी बनने में विलम्ब था इसलिए प्रभु वापस लौट गए।

              * थोड़ी देर बाद फिर से भगवान खिचड़ी का भोग पाने आए तो देखा कि अभी मां चौका बरतन साफ कर रही है।

              * प्रभु ने कहा मां जल्दी कर मां मुझे बहुत भुख लगी है ये सुनकर मां ने जल्दी खिचड़ी बनाकर प्रभु के आगे खिचड़ी परोस दिया।

               * प्रभु प्रेम से खिचड़ी का भोग लगाते रहे और मां एक टक प्रभु को निहारती रही।

                * प्रभु खिचड़ी खा ही रहे थे कि तभी भगवान जगन्नाथ जी के मंदिर से प्रभु का बुलावा आ गया, मंदिर का घंटा बजने लगा और भगवान खिचड़ी पूरा खतम किए बिना ही जूठे मुंह से मंदिर का भोग पाने चले गए।

               * भगवान जगन्नाथ जी के मूर्ती के मुख पर जूठा लगा देख मंदिर के पुजारी हैरान हो गए। पुजारी जी ने आंखें बंद करके प्रभु का ध्यान लगाया और  भगवान से पूछा कि हे प्रभु कृपया आप मुझे बताएं कि आपके मुख पर ये खिचड़ी कैसे लगी। आप मंदिर के छप्पन भोग से पहले कहां से खिचड़ी खाकर आए हैं।

               * तभी पुजारी जी को एक आवाज़ आई कि हे संत मेरी एक बड़ी ही अनन्य भक्त है कर्मा बाई। मैं हर दिन प्रातः मंदिर के भोग से पहले अपनी मां के हाथों से बना स्वादिष्ट खिचड़ी का भोग लगाता हूं।

              * मेरी वो भक्त अनपढ़ और बहुत ही सीधी साधी है। परंतु आज एक संत ने मेरी उस भक्त को मेरे पूजा करने के विधि विधान को समझाकर बहुत गड़बड़ कर दिया।

              * आज संत के बताए हुए विधि विधान के अनुसार मेरी मां को खिचड़ी बनाने में बहुत विलंब हो गया।   मैं खिचड़ी का भोग लगा ही रहा था कि इधर मन्दिर में घंटा बजने लगा और मैं खिचड़ी का पूरा भोग लगाए बिना जूठे मुंह से ही मंदिर का भोग पाने आ गया।

               * भगवान ने बडे़ ही दुखी स्वर से कहा कि उस संत का क्या जाता है कि वो मेरी मां कर्मा बाई को इतना विधि विधान बताकर आ गया। मैं तो बस प्रेम का भूखा हूं। प्रेम से मुझे कोई किसी भी प्रकार से कुछ भी बनाकर खिला दे मुझे वो बहुत स्वादिष्ट लगता है। मुझे विधि विधान से कोई मतलब नहीं है। उस संत के कारण ही आज मैं अपनी मां के हाथों से बने खिचड़ी का भोग नहीं लगा पाया।

                 * भगवान की ये बातें सुनकर संत तुरंत कर्मा बाई के घर जाकर उनसे कहने लगे कि आप अपने तरीके से ही भगवान का भोग बनाएं। आपको किसी भी प्रकार की विधी विधान की आवश्यकता नहीं है।

                   * अब तो फ़िर से मां कर्मा बाई प्रातः काल सबसे पहले प्रभु के लिए खिचड़ी का भोग बनाती और भगवान मन्दिर के भोग से पहले अपनी मां कर्मा बाई के हाथों से बनी हुई खिचड़ी का भोग लगाते और फिर मन्दिर का छप्पन भोग पाते।

                   * 25 जुलाई 1634 की बात है पुजारी जी ने देखा कि भगवान श्री जगन्नाथ जी के कोमल नेत्रों से अश्रु की धारा बह रही है।

*प्रभु के नेत्रों से अश्रु बहते हुए देखकर पुजारी जी हैरान हो गए। पुजारी जी ने अपने नेत्रों को बंद करके प्रभु का ध्यान किया और पूछा कि प्रभु हमसे कोई अपराध हो गया है क्या कि आपके कोमल नेत्रों से अश्रु धारा बह रही है ।

                * तभी एक आवाज़ आई कि हे पुजारी आज़ मेरी अति प्रिय भक्त का जीवन समाप्त हो गया है। आज मेरी मां कर्मा बाई का देहांत हो गया है। वो मुझमें मुझी को प्राप्त हो गई है। लेकिन मुझे बहुत दुख हो रहा है कि अब मुझे नित प्रातः खिचड़ी का भोग कौन लगाएगा।

                  * उस वक्त  मंदिर में मंदिर के पुजारी के अलावा बहुत सारे संत और पूरी के राजा भी मौजूद थे। उन सभी ने ये बातें सुनी । उसी समय  राजा ने मंदिर के पुजारी से कहा कि अब से छप्पन भोग से पहले भगवान जगन्नाथ जी को खिचड़ी का भोग लगाया जाय उसके बाद ही छप्पन भोग लगाया जाय। तभी से भगवान जगन्नाथ जी को पहले खिचड़ी का भोग लगाते हैं और उसके बाद ही छप्पन भोग का भोग लगाया जाता है ।

 

 

                     * This incident is about four hundred years old.  Karma Bai who was a very devoted devotee of Lord Shri Krishna.  Karma Bai loved God with a son.

                  * Karma Bai, from the age of just thirteen years, used to make khichdi with her hands in the morning, making her enjoyment of khichdi with great love.

                 * It is said that in the last days of life, Karma Bai went to the city of Lord Jagannath and started living there.

                * Mother Karma Bai would wake up every day in the morning and make khichdi bhog for the Lord first and God herself would come and offer khichdi with great love.

               * Now it has become a daily affair, Lord Jagannath ji's temple is offered to him by making fifty-six bhog for the Lord, but every morning before the fifty-six bhog of the temple, then enjoy the khichad made by the hand of Lord Mother Karma Bai.  The temple had fifty six enjoyment.

                 * One day a saint arrived at Karma Bai's house early in the morning.  When the saint saw Karma Bai making khichdi without bathing, the saint did not like it.  He called Karma Bai and explained to him the method of reciting pooja and asked him to make bhog by taking bath etc.  The saint said that the enjoyment becomes impure by making bhog without bathing.

                    * According to the saint, Karma Bai got up early in the morning and started bathing and started taking bath, and had come out that Lord God had come to enjoy the khichdi made by the hands of the mother.  There was a delay in making khichdi so Lord returned.

                     * After some time, when I came to enjoy Lord Khichdi again, I saw that the mother was cleaning the kitchen.

                  * Lord said, mother hurrying mother, I am very hungry. Hearing this, mother quickly made khichdi and served khichdi in front of God.

               * Prabhu continued to enjoy khichdi with love and mother kept looking at a tuck lord.

              * Lord Khichdi was eating when Lord Jagannathji came to the Lord's temple, the hour of the temple started ringing and Lord Khichdi went to get the enjoyment of the temple through his mouth without finishing it completely.

               * The priest of the temple was surprised to see Lord Jagannath ji putting a shoe on the face of the idol.  The priest closed his eyes and meditated on the Lord and asked God, Lord, please tell me how this polenta hit your face.  Where have you come from the temple's fifty-six bhogas after eating khichdi?

                      * Then a voice came to the priest saying, O Saint, I have a very special devotee, Karma Bai.  Everyday I offer delicious khichdi made with my mother's hands every morning before the temple's indulgence.

                     * That devotee of mine is illiterate and very straightforward.  But today a saint messed me up a lot by explaining the method of worshiping me to that devotee.

                     Today, according to the law of the saint's law, there was a lot of delay in making my mother khichdi.  I was offering khichdi as a bhog that the hour started ringing in the temple and I came to get the shrimp of the temple from the bare mouth without putting the khichdi full.

                   * God said with a very sad voice that what happens to that saint is that he came after telling my mother Karma Bai such a law.  I am just hungry for love.  With love, anyone can make and feed me in any way, I find it very tasty.  I don't mean anything by law.  Due to that saint, I could not offer khichdi made by my mother's hands today.

                     * Hearing these things of God, the saint immediately went to Karma Bai's house and said to him that you should make the bhog of God in your own way.  You do not need any kind of legal legislation.

                     * Now again, Mother Karma Bai used to make khichdi bhog for the Lord first thing in the morning and used to offer khichdi made by her mother Karma Bai's hands before the Lord's temple and then would enjoy the temple's fifty-six.

                     * It is on 25 July 1634 that the priest saw that a stream of tears was flowing from the soft eyes of Lord Shri Jagannath.

                     * The priest was surprised to see tears flowing from the eyes of the Lord.  The priest closed his eyes and meditated on the Lord and asked whether the Lord had committed any crime to us, whether a tearful stream was flowing from your soft eyes.

                     * Then a voice came that the life of my very dear devotee, O priest, has come to an end.  Today my mother Karma Bai has passed away.  I have received that in me.  But I am very sad that now who will offer me khichdi in the morning.

                   At that time, besides the temple priests, many saints and kings of Puri were also present in the temple.  They all heard these things.  At the same time, the king told the priest of the temple that from now on, the Lord Jagannath ji should be offered khichdi bhog before the Chhappan Bhoga and only then the Chappan Bhog.  Since then, Lord Jagannath is offered khichdi to the Lord and only after that the Chappan Bhog is offered.
