Ingredients for Moong Dal Appe:
1. Moong Dal: 250 grams
2. Potatoes: 5
3. Curry Leaves: 15 to 20
4. Green Chillies: 9 to 10
5. Ginger: 1 small piece
6. Tomatoes
7. Refined Oil

Method for Moong Dal Appe:
To make Moong Dal Appe, put the moong lentils in a pot of water and soak them overnight. In the morning, wash the soaked moong lentils thoroughly, changing the water three to four times.
Now, put the moong lentils, ginger, 6 to 7 curry leaves, 4 to 5 green chilies, and a little water in a mixer jar. Grind them thoroughly and transfer them to a bowl.
Boil the potatoes and let them cool. Peel them and mash them into coarse pieces by hand or with a potato masher. Finely chop the remaining curry leaves and green chilies.
Now add the potatoes, finely chopped curry leaves, finely chopped green chilies, and salt to taste to the ground lentils and mix well.
Now heat the appe pan on the stove. Add a teaspoon of oil to each pan and add the lentil mixture, a little at a time, using a ladle. Cook the appe on medium heat until golden brown on one side and then flip them over.
If the oil seems insufficient, add another teaspoon of oil, turn each appe over, and cook them, then transfer them to a plate. Prepare all the appes in the same manner and serve them hot with any chutney or dip.You can make this for breakfast or dinner.
